Do any of you play an instrument and of so which one

I tried the piano when younger and the guitar late in life. But mastered neither )-;

I started out in elementary school band playing baritone horn. I started playing snare drum in a fife and drum group and moved to percussion in school band. In high school I started playing the whole drum set in competition jazz band. In my senior year I ended up with a scholarship to Colegate university to play drums in their jazz band. I also played triple drums in marching band. In my adult life I played drums in a few heavy metal bands. I also learned guitar and bass guitar and screaming (I mean singing) in a few bands. I was about to get signed to a record label and we didn't end up doing it at the last second due to contract crap our lawyer told us not to settle with. Since my injuries in Iraq I can't play drums anymore because my shoulder dislocates. I can't play much heavy metal guitar solos dude to nerve damage and decreased motor skills in my fingers. I still play bass and some rhythm guitar, but not band worthy.

A fellow drummer!

Played all through school. Now have been playing at our church for probably 8 years or so. Nothing professional.

Guitar. I actually just sold a guitar Ive had since I was a teenager. I still play a little, but just mess around. Waiting for the money to clear so I can buy a new bow.

Sorry to hear about not being able to play much anymore, as you know it's such a great outlet for stress. Sounds like you had some talent. I grew up playing guitar and bass and my brother drumming. Played in a couple small time rock/punk/metal bands, our highlight was opening for L.A. Guns, that was a fun show.

Used to play the banjo a lot but haven’t in some time. It’s a fun instrument.

Band director here with a masters in music education, so I am pretty competent with all the traditional band instruments. Unfortunately my piano and guitar skills are sub par at best, so I can’t play either of the “cool” ones.

I actually recently brokered a deal with the wife that I'd sell my bow to fund my next guitar purchase. However a really good deal came up on this guitar so I pulled the trigger early, trying to wait it out and see if she forgets about the bow. 🍻

Ha, we could have just cut out the middle man and traded.

Guitar and banjo here. But have arthritis in left thumb and right shoulder problems. Haven't played in years. Need to dust them off and get at it again if I can.

Played the violin in sixth grade, sax in 7th. I could call ducks, geese and elk right into the backyard but those musical instruments sounded so bad.
One of my college roommates was the 168 pound PAC 8 champion. Built like a Greek God, played the piano beautifully. We’re at a party, there is a piano, in seven minutes there would be a girl on either side of him. Never could figure it out....
