We put a tarp around the base of the tree then rattled the branches with long sticks to knock them out. Then just gather them up. mtmuley
I sit under a tree and pick off the ground. LOL
The amigos were shaking and whacking branches when I got back from the store.
10% fee for picking I said. Don't pick them all.
The dad had been let loose and stopped by with GF, post surgery. Ouch.
Under a pinion. Picking and eating fresh nuts.
Dotti helping everyone. Pine pitch on her.
They got my old shed leveled and sided with old roof steel. Used windows in. Cool. Tool & hardware shed.
Back next week.
I went and dropped new fence wire & some manure by the habitat cage site.
No alfalfa and fresh ground plants all around. Bull rubs.
Wallowing in the tanks. Mud.

I did get all my tools moved into the shop. Truck & trailer loaded/unloaded.
The only damage was the rat nest on my old joiner. It'll need naval jelly.
But it was like that when I bought it for $25 40 years ago. 6 inch Craftsman.
Arranged for my road guy to come over next week and help me set the generator.
Got the pad set. Myself.

Some year I’ll time out the tarantula migration and have a NM bull tag in my pocket to witness it first hand. Maybe next year!

How did you get the winterfat to come up? I didn't have any luck with it.
Regenerated from native stock. Good spot and the elk feed there before jumping the fence.
Some luck broadcasting native grasses and fourwing salt brush.
No livestock here for 8 years now helps.
Sheep sorrel showing again too.
7450' @ the well head by house. 7500' at old homestead dugout and the windmill is 7350'. Not as flat as it looks.
Hope I'm not boring folks.
Never took many photos hunting or fishing. Solo ventures in my life mostly. Rarely took a camera on all those many backpacking trips.
Someday I'll go thru the shoeboxes and albums.
Somewhere is a pic of me @ 8yrs in NM. 50 miles south of here in a campsite I still stay in.

Great to hear your blood work came back good!
PSA 0.04 is good,well lucky good. Hearing red & white counts are good was very good.
Been wondering about my immune systems. Dr. does not say much.
He likes my yard...LOL.
Said don't cut yourself short on my having Dotti is 12 years of positive. More.
Tried to get new mudflaps on the Tacoma front. Nope. Even the 15's too much tread. OK. I like the sst pro ride on the dirt. Both sizes rub.
Zip tied the loose wires on rear bumper and I shorted the left turn again. LOL

The plants in pots need to go in tubs for winter. "It's a dry cold". Makes for easy watering.

Nice to get it tho. A compliment from a good looking woman does wonders.
No mention of unfilled "Advance Directives" this time meant she approves of lifestyle.

I ate and slept the day away. Beat.
Ground still wet when I stocked up on firewood.
Records for rain across the state, 2 dead near Roswell.
Nice and warm, dry. No roof leaks.
My road is nice and firm.
Dotti has discovered the rodents.
Halfway up a woodpile looking for critters.
I'll check the gauge today. Need a new one.
Bet it's over 4".
Sunny and 70's with frost in mornings for the week.
