Utah? I’d bet it was pest control, security system or solar panels. That states loves those sales especially if it’s built into a pyramid schemeHe was a door to door salesman. No kidding. He knocked on my sister's door and tried to sell her something.
700 plus yard shot without taking a range? Wow. Screw it make rifle seasons open sights only, at least maybe in utahJust went to this Aram’s Facebook page. His 5 part series on his explanation actually makes him look worse than the other couples account. I love how he admits small parts of him being wrong but in the end doesn’t own it. Textbook liar.
I think we are slowly headed that direction with the demand for tags and advanced equipment/technology. I’m all for it. A little reduced success rates might weed out some of the problems too.700 plus yard shot without taking a range? Wow. Screw it make rifle seasons open sights only, at least maybe in utah
That explains a lot.He was a door to door salesman. No kidding. He knocked on my sister's door and tried to sell her something.
There’s gotta be a catchy phrase in there somewhere:Hey guys. It’s your last chance for a free hat.
Buy my gear or I’ll steal your deer? There’s gotta be a catchy phrase in there somewhere:
All hat and no deer
All hat and no gear
All hat and lots of gear
Holler if your deer has a collar!Buy my gear or I’ll steal your deer?
Harder to see a collar at 700+ yards. It’s crazy to me the ranges both of these hunters were shooting at. Especially if you can’t reload and relocate the target yourself. When he said the deer he shot didn’t have a collar it would have been game over
I think the max range thing would be the most doable thing and the most reasonable. I'd bug my legislators about that if it came up.I'm not for open sights only. Would probably be met with issues from the visually impaired and I think you'd still have a ton of crippled deer from people taking low odds shots with their new open sights. Would be a lot of deer wounded that would have been killed clean with a scope IMO.
Hunters in general are just terrible at shooting and have been led to believe they can just buy a range finder or ballistic turret and shoot a long ways. I'd be all for a 400 or 500 yard max legal range. Of course it would be ignored by some but it would help i think..
How could it be enforced? Nearly impossible I imagine.I think the max range thing would be the most doable thing and the most reasonable. I'd bug my legislators about that if it came up.

Aram Von Benedikt
Does anyone know Aram Von Benedikt? He apparently writes for Outdoor Life. It appears that while hunting in Utah on a General Season rifle hunt he decided to steal a buck that was shot by another hunter and was actively getting tracked. It's all over the socials. He has a rebuttal story, but...rokslide.com
