Or maybe he is throwing the internet a curve ball!!!!!!Saw a group of 6 rams through another tourists spotter inside the park this summer. That was up Slough creek. Two were definitely legal, and one was a heavier, broomed, and nearing full curl. That would be a heck of a ram to find in September up there.
Someone understands me!Or maybe he is throwing the internet a curve ball!!!!!!![]()
This from the man who says there are no rams left in 501!Thanks for alerting the world of that.
Well, I can remove the location from my post if it makes you feel better. I suppose it's not fair to the guys planning to hunt that drainage this fall.I think everyone should know that too. Let em grow.
I edited mine for you to amigo.... I'm just busting your balls you know.Well, I can remove the location from my post if it makes you feel better. I suppose it's not fair to the guys planning to hunt that drainage this fall.
Oh that is an even better edit! Hahaha. I figured as much, but it IS only fair to the guys hunting it to keep it a little lower key.I edited mine for you to amigo.... I'm just busting your balls you know.
Maybe you can get an edge up on the competition by packing in a ladder to get a better view from unconventional glassing spots? This seems like the next pro tip!Did you see the rams on there.
That'll be the next "layer" they come out with. Possible Sightings or Spotting Nobs.

My Mom's family were custom wheat cutters - pretty sure there'd be adventure "harvesting" a ram off the deck of a Gleaner.Where's the adventure?
Side note worth sharing. You are more likely to die from a black bear attack than a grizzly attack. If you get attacked by a black bear you need to fight to get them off of you. They tend to kill the person once they start attacking. With Grizzly bears you should protect yourself and not fight back. Grizzly bears will tend to diffuse the situation and leave. I did a bit of research prior to entering the UL's and this is what I learned and I would have thought the exact opposite. The wildlife biologist also said that his buddy that investigates bear attacks has never seen a bullet hole in a grizzly bear due to self defense. They have seen many unloaded guns but people tend to not connect with bears when they are messing their drawers. He recommends bears spray and he has seen that work. Personally, I will take my chances with a gun and my skill set.Thank you for your response and for that small insight of units you would start in I will and do already carry bear spray especially after being charged by a sow black bear this spring while shed hunting stopped her at 4 feet but I stood my ground ready to use some bjj on her lol but in all seriousness I will have the spray for sure
