Drought for the west

I am going to start building my ark SAP. 522 % of normal.

The past few day have given us nearly 2 inches of rain. It is going to make the summer unless it just turns very hot and windy
Maybe this year all the people with 799 tags will not have to search through a half a dozen bull to find one that is not broken in half.

Wichita has had the 5th wettest spring on record.

70 miles west of us, they had there first rainfall/snow since September last week, but nothing more than enough to cut some of the dust. Western Kansas is suffering, but long term weather forecasts seem to be more hopeful.

Raining here right now (Buffalo WY) What a difference from the past two years. We still have catching up to do, so any rain is welcome.

98 @ 7500' is hot.
Was 114 in Tucumcari and half NM was above 100 yesterday with more records in the east today. It's heading into Tejas and come Thurs. the prediction is above average precip for the AZ/NM border thro the end of month.
We need a break. 80+ days since last rain.
