App fee increase bill

I’m leaning towards being out indefinitely, b/c of where the money goes: large landowners. F—-in Robin Hood in reverse.

The language in the bill says "shall not exceed". So I'm guessing the department doesn't have to go to the max of $75 per app, just can't go above that.

I'm guessing they will of course raise it from the current $15 for NR if the bill passes, but will they go all the way to $75? Also, is that per species or if you do all species at one time is that just one fee?

I think it will definitely be $75, but hopefully your right.

So if you were applying for multiple tags/people at the same time, would that be one application fee? Like one fee per transaction, or one fee per tag applied for?

For what's it's worth I wrote my congresswoman and said I was against all the fee increases. I am a Wyoming resident and think this is just wring especially after hiking the special tag costs last year. I even pointed out how they stack up against the neighboring states.

The fact they raised special tags price and it didn't slow down apps is exactly why they are raising it.

A goverment entity passes a fee increase and doesn't take full advantage of it? That's some good stuff your smoking on!

well, last year NRs were spending 150 in the primary draw alone just to apply for all species in colorado.

170 if you go for goat and sheep.

haha! you're probably right the question is do enough people quit applying because of the $75 fee could be you would actually bring in more $ if you raise it to like $50 and less people drop out
