The Governor, the Wolf and the Warden: A Fresh Look at a Gianforte Hunt

Let the good times roll!

This speaks volumes for 2024 MT direction.
Primary voters:
Biden turnout 90k Montanan's.
Trump turnout 160k Montanan's.

GG will most likely hold the Montana Governor's throne another round. What a flipping turd! Absolutely ZERO thanks to the Democrat leaders for handing us Independent and borderline registered D & R voters another royal politically branded hazardous turd to flush down the drain. They need to tke a page from their strategy book regarding the latitude Democrat leadership gives Tester - They need to pull their heads out of their ass and push this for their Governor candidate! Not some seriously overcooked HOT/RADIOACTIVE POTATO!

The timing of the OP article is infused with politically aged 2021 mold and that is how it is perceived, right or wrong. IMO, most Montanan's don't care about wolves enough to look at details of how agencies are allegedly operated... Everyone knows from exhausted political phone calls, texts, and emails - t'is the political games season!
Aside from those already dead-set to vote anything other than GG and our fabulous trench digger D's, few continue to read about a 2021 incident involving perceived/alleged inferred body slam pressure. Voters already approved this ridiculous behavior. Yellowstone? Dalton/Rip anyone? Haha! I joke though too many people are sucked into TV leached "reality".

Theodore Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party would sure be a breath of fresh air! Yet, as he stumped about the reality of Boss Party Politics, the D and R trumpets blare the themed, "if you don't vote for us, it's a vote for them". No way in hell am I voting for either turds.
The stand up comedian Techie Libertarian might gain a vote - hah! Where's the Independent candidate? While Libertarians are bent, I don't believe they can bend any further than an extreme Giffords liberal organization's Busse Senior Advisor nor a Jersey G chit blabbering "You're hired/fired if..." toad.

  • Greg Gianforte (R): According to the data, Gianforte garners support from a significant portion of respondents, with his approval ranging from 44% to 80% across different demographics. This widespread support indicates a strong base for the Republican candidate.
  • Ryan Busse (D): While Democratic candidate Ryan Busse also commands a notable share of the vote, ranging from 20% to 35% across demographics, his support appears to be trailing behind Gianforte's.
  • Undecided Voters: A notable percentage of respondents remain undecided, ranging from 7% to 19% across different groups. While these voters could potentially sway the outcome of the election, the current data suggests that Gianforte holds a substantial lead over Busse.
  • Other Candidates: The data also accounts for support for other candidates, which ranges from 3% to 15% across demographics. However, their influence on the overall election outcome appears to be minimal compared to the leading contenders.
Overall, based on the polling data, it seems that Greg Gianforte has a significant advantage over his opponents in the gubernatorial race.

Definitely too early though I believe most of us are not bedazzled to believe Busse is going to take the throne from Gianforte.
Hey though, if Busse pulls this off, it will further confirm I am solely responsible for making a good stock forecast turn chitty once I buy shares!

Juras will remain Lt Gov
Knudsen will keep AG
Tester over Sheehy, I hope though looking like a red wave inbound.

Dems are placing massive amounts more for Tester. Need that Senate seat. For Vets and Montana as a whole I sure hope he takes it.

Good to see Rosendale off to smellier manure pastures.

Oh, side mention; Best to your HD 28 run Eric Albus.

Cheers all, have a wonderful day. More and more I believe there is a parrallel meaning behind Otis Reddings, "(Sittin on) The dock of the bay"

The words of Walter Cronkite, "And that's the way it is".

Gio killed a wolf, Canadian wolf. MT should not care about that. U know man, montana's killed montana wolves with 1080.

Because if u like it or not man replaced wolves in the carnivore pit. Elk is bigger and better eating than a mule deer.

Don't like either reb or dem so prob won't vote. Both corupt. Both dipshits.

I seriously don't know why we don't have a great canidate for mt. Regardless of party.

Gio not from here, bused bought. Both sell mt.

Who gives a shit gio killed a trapped wolf. How u expect a dickhead from out of state to do it.
Any chance someone that speaks English can translate this for me? Is there an app that will convert to English?

Flatbrimmer, just saying. I voted for trump x2. And would again. My world was better with him. And I think the working class.

Who cares he slayed a porn star like greenhorn killing 6x6s in secret spots.
They all corupt and play the media.

When was it best for u
I voted for him twice too. You’re a funny fugger you know that!? 😂😂

It's cool how stories like this show up during election season only. Of course, some believe whatever they read, and some stories might be true. Most of us know that most have political motivations even if they are former employees.

Of course, there are others involved in preventing "some" true stories from being published or flat out come out and lie that they didn't happen. There was a suppressed story for years that the FBI just admitted was true.

Bottom line, mud slinging is political sport, but I refuse to vote based on disgruntled employees or political articles. You can though.

GG is a POS. As someone that is almost squarely independent. How the F*ck do the dems in MT give us Busse? The guy is going to get steam rolled. We need to roll out a couple decent candidates this next go around, but it probably won’t happen.

One of my connections within FWP is a die hard Republican. We were at a party together a week or so ago and I asked about the department under GG. “If people could actually see how toxic it is right now there is no way a hunter would vote for Gainforte.” They explained that if you are in the wildlife side then you better shut up and take orders or Greg will make his puppet (Temple) find a way to get rid of you.

Did you read the post? Or are you not capable?
I’m just solidifying a point (one that you sort of made yourself). Could Montana do better than GG? Absolutely.

But it could also be much, much, much worse.

Even if Busse is the gun-grabbing boogeyman you think he is, what do you honestly think he could accomplish on that front with a republican supermajority in the legislature? Not to mention that any attempts at gun control would be suicide for a re-election campaign, which is why he avoids talking about it on the campaign trail now.

He's been trapping for 50 years? Is trapping even a thing in the People's Republic of California?

Not directed at you 4ohSick, the idea he avoids his active position with the leading anti-2A organization that promotes registering bb guns and suggests 2A reflects rifles are only for sport and hunting?

Re-election political suicide?
Good luck trying to avoid the blaring megaphone the Democrat leaders gifted Jersey G's campaign.

Busse already lost Flathead county w/ his embellished $ pitched book w/o even touching other counties then again, Flathead county is typically red. Though he sure sealed those votes.

This is Rob Quist X2 all over again! Democrat leadership and trench imbedded D's will complain about this or that if/when GG takes his seat again though the reality:
Voters of Montana make the decision. If Democrat leaders can not see the radioactive potato... Busse of all people??? This shows how disconnected they are from Montanan voters.

This is why we have GG. Money helps though FFS, Dems are spending 38 million on Tester. Tester is rooted to MT and Dems know they must give him latitude to represent Montanans interest if they want us to vote for him and we have in the past though Busse? Not with his history!

Busse? Democrats have only themselves to blame.

He’s made it explicitly clear that he is. Did you know that he was paid $150/hr last year by the State of WA (my old home state) to argue in court that banning all magazines over 10 rounds is ok, because people can use bolt action rifles for self defense instead?

which is why he avoids talking about it on the campaign trail now.
That’s even worse, that just means that he’s a snake. I’d prefer to not have the most powerful person in my state be a gun grabber who hides from the issue when it’s not politically palatable, but will 100% start grabbing the second it becomes even remotely politically palatable.

He will 100% push for and support bans of semiautomatic rifles, magazines over 10 rounds, he’ll support radical red flag confiscation, and he’ll support extreme, financially burdening legal requirements on FFLs that will result in most of them being unable to do business (as he lobbied for and helped pass in WA).

So yes, hard pass on the gun grabbing Giffords Expert who loves banning guns and magazines, bullying FFLs out of business, lobbies for a federal universal gun registration, and red flag confiscation. Hard, hard pass.

Those scare campaigns the NRA used worked well on you I see.

The D's need to drop the whole gun control issue, it's costing them politically.

They're as dumb that way as the R's are with women's rights/health (contraception, abortion, etc.) that issue costs Republicans big-time, already has. I suspect they'll relearn that lesson come November and deserve to.

Yes, the big bad NRA is so powerful, they actually forced Ryan Busse to say these things under oath in a public courtroom!

Every single thing I mentioned has been specifically said on public platforms by Busse himself. If you’re not willing to see what’s right in front of you, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Right, and how much success have D's had in taking your firearms away?

You're missing the point.

D's need to drop the whole gun control issue and focus on mental health. Force the Rs hand every single time a mass shooting happens on why they won't do more for mental health. Shelve the gun control crap, it's failed policy.

If they went that route, they would win wayyyyy more elections. At the same time, let the Rs continue to wallow in marginalizing, and taking away basic rights, to half of the voting population.

So easy, and yet they won't do it...dumb.

My wife’s EDC pistol is now illegal in the state in which she works, thanks to Ryan Busse and his Democrat friends.

Talk about women’s rights!

Meh...restrictions on firearms were a favorite of the R's in my lifetime.
