I've got zero problems with it, I don't partake (I need another bad habit like I need a hole in my head). However since it became legal here people seem to think it's legal to everywhere. Last summer I took my 3 and 5 year old to a fun park. While waiting in for the go karts there was a man bun douche bag smoking pot. Blowing right back in my kids face. We had words, and then I spun out his go kart, twice. I realize this is just one bad apple but it's pretty common in public since becoming legal.

That just people though 5 years ago the guy could have been tipped over drunk. Your kids don’t need to see that either

There is a hotel in Antonito, Colorado called the Steam Train Hotel next to the Cumbres & Toltec train station. Most folks that stay overnight to ride the train stay there. In their description, they say that all of their rooms are non-smoking for cigarettes, but they are 420 friendly. Not sure why they want to ban cigarette smoking, but allow smoking marijuana in their rooms?

You're right, I see no problem with drunken go kart use around children. Much safer than some secondhand weed smoke which the children may or may not inhale. Yeah that guys a dick for doing that, but it could be anything he could be wrecked on and its dangerous for kids. Start worrying about that, you may as well just live in a bubble.

I was still waking up and missed the in his face part. Thought it was just in front of him. As a guy who would climb in gizmo if I could that guy got lucky that situation was handled peacefully

Any dissenting opinion in this thread against pot you have shown you aren’t listening. Instead you choose to argue a flawed position and be a Ahole about it.

The reality is you have proven to vast majority here that it’s not worth engaging with you on anything meaningful.

But you will likely not listen to this as well and continue to dig that same hole and further entrench your self destructive position.

Edit to add I knew a team of house framers who smoked "grass" on their rest breaks. I haven't checked on the houses to see how they're holding up, but I assume they're ok. Probably easier to focus where to put each nail.

It's been 10 years since I changed the oil in a car without drinking a beer; must be a miracle they're all still on the road. When I tiled my kitchen with no previous experience, I was taking a drink every time I got up to mix some more mortar. Still turned out better than most "professional" tile jobs I see in airports and commercial buildings. I don't like the work ethic of being impaired on the job, but I don't think a couple puffs are going to make the houses start blowing down.

Uh you think the position is flawed because of your position on the matter. The ‘reality’ is you and a select few are in the minority with your outdated views. Take a look through the thread for proof.

So should drunks and alcoholics be able to go to a bar? Then drive? I don't know of any public smoking clubs? Gotta go to a dispensary and supposed to indulge at home. I know public use is large... and not agreeing with it being in a child's face. At the fair I had to walk my kids away several times... but same goes with rowdy drinkers we just walked away when we could. If a drunk can go to a casino? Objectively I would say smokers would have the same right to intoxicate themselves in some similar establishment. If they have alcohol for sale at a concert etc. Wouldn't the same recreational right be a area smokers could go? I dunno not the subject, but objectively it should be considered the same... if you had to smoke your hops to get drunk, no one would know any different. But since marijuana can be consumed so many ways I think people are just focusing on smoking. Traditionally that's what we think of... you can drink marijuana too. Is it okay if everyone just had a marijuana soda at these concerts then? Because it's not "smoke" ? So if marijuana was treated like hops from the beginning and we just made thc sodas would anyone of you complain differently?

Not letting your kids ride the go karts cause the guy was drunk, or having to wait til he leaves, is impacting his kids. Plus whatever other shenanigans a drunk person may get up to.

Really then why can’t you smoke in restaurants but can drink with your dinner?

If there were no ill effects of blowing a product into someone else’s lungs then it should still be legal right?

That's my point if traditionally you had to smoke hops. You wouldn't think anything of it. So say a guy has a thc soda at the restaurant you feel any different? You can drink thc too is my point. So at all these public events where alcohol is... if thc sodas were served instead of people walking with joints... you feel different then?
