anytime before the second week.. As early as feb. I need to fly in so i would need a solid date before i can commit. Would be nice to know asap since air fares are rock bottom. Dan, I'm after hogs only anyway. Turkey would have been nice, but if we can add Scmaltz to the crew, the more the merrier! I'm game for any date!
How about the week of Feb. 27?? Come in on Sunday.. Hunt Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, maybe Thursday. Leave either late Thursday or early Friday?

I dont want to be a pain, you guys can decide and i will just let you know if it works. I can say this, if i can go i would have to fly in on a thursday eve and hunt fri-sun and fly out sun evening. I will be calling in sick to make the 3-4 day hunt out of it

I think three days of hunting should be fine, four if need be. I'm game for any 3/4 days. $$$? It looks like $150x3or 4 +license and food. I think it's $125 for the license, so that would be $575 total apiece for a 3day and $725 for a 4day hunt not counting food. I'm all for the 3day hunt (a little easier on the wallet), but I'll go 4 if we don't bag anything. I don't think we need to spend more than $100 a piece for food.
Another thing to consider is the weather. Does anybody Know what the weather is like there in Late Feb/March? Should we be dressing for cold/warm weather? Camo pattern? I"m sure I'll come up with more questions.

I forgot to mention that the guys that are flying better get their dates reserved quick! The price goes way up if the reservation is not at least 3 weeks in advance! I'm not definetly sure about how long you have to make the res in advance, so you better check that out for yourselves! Good luck and I hope you get a great fare!
dan weekend hunts are better for me.i will be coming in the truck probablly and if i am working its monday thru friday, i drive on the weekends and thats it so friday, saturday, sunday works best for me.this is the second trip i have tried to make with schmalts so i would like to see him come with.also would someone be willing to pick me up at a truckstop in san antonio and let me ride over with them and bring me back after the hunt.
Well, before I read Tim's last post, I sent an email to Ross. I asked him about four days, Thurs to Sunday the last weekend in February. Everyone should be able to make it.. I'll be driving in on Wednesday night from Austin.. Tim if the truck stop is anywhere close, I'll pick you up. I'll visiting my friend before the hunt.. So it should work..

With some kind prompting (Thanks Moosie), I've changed the dates in my last post. The email I just received from Ross says that he has nothing booked so far. The last weekend in February would be the first hunt of the year. He needs half down to hold the date. So figure out what you want to do and drop me an email at [email protected]. I would like to send $$ before the end of next week..

It depends on whether you want to hunt three days or four days.. I think right now, I would like to hunt four days.. Should be able to fill the freezer with wild pork in that time.. THe rpice I was quoted was $125 per day, including the house to stay in and unlimited hogs.. All we have to do is buy food and water and stuff.. So we need to decide if we hunt three days or four.. Multiply that by $125 per day and the send me half of it.. My email address is in an earlier post.. If you have any questions or need to know where to send the money, email me..

This year it doesn't work out for me Gents........ My DHI BAnquet is Sat. Feb 26th and the Following weekend if the Sportsman show.
The only reason I caught the Date Dan is Feb 26th is My banquet Otherwise even a Keen Eye like mine would have missed it......
