Does anyone have a good revolver grip recommendations? I’ve got some factory rubber grips on my 6.5” 629 and I can’t help but want some checkered wood grips. I’ve been struggling to decipher the difference between instagram garbage and the good stuff.

Order a set of S&W wood target grips for the N frame. Sounds like what your looking for.

I had a set of Hogue wood grips on my 629, but the shape just didn’t fit my hand and whacked the bottom joint of my thumb hard with heavy loads so I put the original rubber back on. I’ve shot a few 29s with the S&W factory square butt target grips and I think they’re pretty comfortable. Midwest gun works has the factory wood grips you’d find on the 629 deluxe.

I say hunt down a set of thr factory 629 deluxe 3" model grips. They will be the good stuff and look darn nice at the same time. I have a 38 special with those same factory grips. When the guy at the store brought it out and opened the case I looked at it and told him go start the paperwork.
