Puppy Names

Dog command: one syllable(here, sit, stay, back, fetch, over ((oops!)). Dog name's two syllables to avoid confusing their puppy brain. Trooper and Penny live at my house.

I can't remember what my brother's dog started off with for a name, but after awhile he switched it to 'Damn It' since that seemed to always be the phrase being yelled. I'm more partial to Duke, Sage, or Thor.
Looks like I should refresh my screen more, +1 on LI Yankee's suggestion.

"Shot" a buddy of mine had an absolutely awesome GSP, his name was "Shot", a lot of times we referred to him as "Big Shot" as well. Let me tell you, your little buddy will have some big shoes to fill if you chose that name...."Shot was one of a kind, haven't seen better since he went to Doggie heaven. Good luck and nice looking pup!

I have a black and white GSP named "Rudy" that could be your pups long lost brother. Named him after the 1980's movie character who would not give up on his dream of playing football for the "Fighting Irish". My little guy goes after birds with the same intensity.

Cute pup.

My wife said we should have named our new dog Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) because of his propensity to eat socks and underwear. This trait hasn't exactly endeared him to the women of the house, who just so happen to outnumber me 4:1.

If he behaves like mine, you may as well name him Your Dog, because that's what he will be referred to as everytime you get home.

Thanks everybody. They are all great suggestions. I like Buster and Tucker but I will run all the names by the kids for suggestions. My wife suggested Ruger and my oldest daughter likes Rowdy.
