2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

#2 in the Big10 was actually Indiana according to their standings. Ohio State would be #4 in the Big10 standings, but not that it matters. We simply don't know how good Oregon is. They only played Ohio St of the top Big10 teams during regular season and won by 1 at home due to a strategy that is now illegal by the NCAA. Oregon hasn't lost, so they get #1 by default.

A few ways Michigan and Arkansas are different ... Arkansas game was Oct 5 (a long time ago). Michigan was Ohio St's last game. if you aren't aware, Vols have a Freshman QB in his first year. Arkansas was an away game for Vols. Michigan was a home game for Ohio St. I think it's reasonable to expect a Freshman QB to get better with more experience. Ohio St's QB is a 5th year Senior ... you have what you have after that much time. Vols QB has thrown 4 QBs in each of the last two games which is almost half of what he threw in the previous 10 games.

I meant objectively they were #3 best.

As for 1st year qbs progressing, tell that to Bears fans ;)

And as for Oregon, they beat Boise State, they beat Penn state who just one their game handily, they thumped a 6-5 team on the road that is likely better than Ark, and they beat OSU. So, will they win or lose, who knows, but they are legit.

Even NFL QBs get better. Peyton Manning set the NFL interception record as a rookie.

Oregon barely beat Boise at home early in the season. We don't know how good Penn St is, but that was post season. Penn St's only top Big10 team they played was Ohio St. Ohio St beat them at Penn St, btw.

Either way, we are going to find out in a few hours if Ohio St or Vols are that good or not. ;)

Hope it’s a good game either way. Not great football so far

What team? How much money do you have? :D
Been a diehard buckeye fan my entire life. Even when we struggle to beat that team up north. Lots of family and friends went there and have enjoyed a handful of games at the shoe. Incredible atmosphere.

Crazy how fast a couple decades can fly by:
