Montana/Idaho wolf management

I just read about Gale Norton approving new rules for wolf management in Mt. and Id. in the march issue of Bugle magazine. I haven't seen anything else on the subject. Can someone enlighten me or direct me to something that will give me more information on the subject?
Thanks
I really think this is the topic that this thread is supposed to be following any way. ;)

westerngraywolf.fws.gov/ here is everything you need to know about wolf management.. i was half asleep reading these posts and spit my milk out when i saw the bush pic.Bush likes me, i worked the campaign in arizona...i knew we won when Flipper didnt even come to phoenix area,he stopped in flagstaff..

Thanks for the info SG that I started going thru it, but have class to take care of now, will wade thru it later.... :)

Either way, even if I'm just being cranky tonight, I have gotten a few more complaints about this place so please keep it a little more pleasant.
Mo, promise me if I send you a PM about the SI guys being too harsh to me, do me a favor and ban me. If folks need to get mommy if someone gives them a hard time, maybe they need to find a new board or at least a spine.

Lefty asked a question and IT gave him a starting point (maybe with some sarcasm maybe not).

I didn't read all of the replies since I was about to vomit from all the whining. Move on guys. Obviously everyone on here is going to be flamed at one point or another. If this is something you can't handle or don't enjoy maybe SI isn't for you. Lots of other areas on this board if you don't care for this one.

Mo there is only one way to make this a feel happy section of the board and that is to ban about 8 people (athough they will eventually be replaced anyway). They will continue to flame each other and that will never change. I, personnally, don't have a problem with them nor the volitility occurring. It makes SI, SI. Sportsman's Issues in most cases means more than one opinion, ie, there will be disagreements. Debate I say. If you need to start personal attacks it is most likely you are losing the debate and have proven it to everyone reading or participating.

Move along.

Oh yeh, if you disagree, hammer on me. I promise I can take it. :D

Well said MO.

IT and BUZZ, blah, blah, blah, big words, blah, blah, more big words, blah...... :) :) :D :D

Welcome back MICHAEL.

It's good to have RINGER around.

I don't always agree with eveybody (sometimes I don't agree with anybody), and I post here when I don't have better things to do.

Mo,

I get your point. This is Moosie's property and we are his guests. Our bad behavior is costing him members. Members that might actually want to talk about HUNTING and not all this petty political b.s.. I would rather talk about hunting than arguing with the same people over the same issues over and over again. The point is, is that our behavior may be driving some good hunters away from this site. I will do my best keep the debate civil and still interesting and informative.

I've been slammed a few times but never let it bother me. I just consider the source. It is usually a few individuals who have different perspectives than myself. Isn't that how people learn. I get called a few names and the person posts good info after.

Actually, it never entered my mind that I was being sarcastic when I posted this: "Ever try a google search when you want info? Go to http://www.google.com/ and put this in the box:

norton wolf management montana idaho"

I guess I'm just not as sensitive as some of the other posters here. After all, the forum is called "Sportsman's Issues" (incorrectly, BTW. It should be Sportsmen's Issues) . What do you expect to happen when you discuss controversial issues?

Here's what I notice: The posters who present well thought out, clear, concise, articulate opinions with links to back up information get treated with more respect than
posters who give a bunch of poorly thought out BS with no back up. Just like real life, huh?

BigHornRam has the issue nailed. Quite frankly when it comes down to it the bottom line is...well the bottom line basically.

Hey Ith maybe it is "Sportsman's Issues" maybe it's all about Moosie and that's it. ;) There may be a subversive undercurrent to his grammer issues. :D

To be fair, I did perhaps jump the gun on implying your post was sarcastic. Then again you are never sarcastic are you? (See now THAT would be sarcasm ;) ).

Darn guys, I'm almost sorry I started all this. I have to admit that in my overly sensitive state of mind I did feel that Ithica was trying to make me feel inferior- which I probably am. Then I remembered giving him some grief when I first started posting here for doing the same thing to others, so what else should I expect? I got over it and got some helpful information to boot, and I only used one box of kleenex to wipe the tears away.

Mr Chairman!!(Moosie, Mo, Del or whoever makes these decisions) Point of order!!

I humbly submit that Sportsman's Issues be renamed...a new moniker that more accurately reflects the tone most threads on this forum devolve into. A name that serves as both forum title, and warning to the uninitiated.

Instead of SI, how about PC for Politically Controversial (of course SI vets would know it as Pissing Contests)

Do I have a Second??

Oh and about the wolves...up here, we just shoot em from airplanes

Ithaca, it doesn't do anyone any good to bring up all those past post just to say he said this, he said that, look what he posted. Everyone is guilty of saying crap, and some of posting pictures, some more than others.

I think we need the (Ithacas, Buzzhs, Elkgunners) and( Elkchasers,Muledeers,Paws). As these posters leave, S.I. gets less intresting. don
PS Nobody pick on what I said or Ill PM Mo agian!:D
