cfree, I have seen a lot of damage done by off roading and it has been more than two years with rain and mother nature, and it is still not back to what it was. One place has been totally closed since mid to late 90s and has hardly regrown or come back at all. I have also seen scars in the landscape that have been there since the early 90s and will more than likely be visable for another 10 years. So when Ithaca, Buzz, YRH and Oak, bitch and complain about the ranchers and ATVs, they have good reason for this, just like you do about the litter and debris. The difference is, littler can be picked up and recycled, the landscape in our forests and parks can not. Neither one of these issues are very pleasant for sure.

I would think plastic water jugs could be picked up and disposed of far quicker than the ground will recover from the damage inflicted by Fat-Assed ATV riders. And I can tell you that the garbage in the desert that is shot up TVs, washing machines, and mattress box springs was not put their by illegal aliens. It was brought there by law abiding white trash, and then by poking 75 rounds at it with the .223, they have now given hunters a bad name/image.

ATV'ers are a problem here, but a bigger problem is the illegal dumpers. Because of the EPA restrictions in our state, our towns have set up bulk trash pickup days, and you can drop bulk items at the township yards, most are open 7 days a week just for that purpose. But people still insist on taking their stoves, referigerators, microwaves etc, to the woods and dumping them. Heck take it to the boro yard, and they will help unload it. As far as the illegal immigrants...I am against them too! I just don't know how to stop the influx.
