Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Doubt this will impact agencies...

Wasn't allowed to use a hearing aid. I don't have them. I just have one tone I don't hear so good. Guns, loud machines and crushers got me.

Spinal meningitis and a 106* temperature when I was 20 months old fried my inner ear. I’ve been 1/2 deaf my whole life.

Chainsaws and guns haven’t helped.

Edit: deaf not dead!

I’m still confused to the reasoning of the chit talking of taking a job with the private sector vs the government.

Hard working people and lazy people in both worlds.

I still show up to work everyday, work for my paycheck, and don’t expect a handout.

Not sure the point you’re trying to make.
U called me a rube. So I figured I'd let ya know i wasn't rube-y enough to take a government job.

I have no problem with you, but I'm clearly okay with government jobs and programs being evaluated to see if it is needed or not. You take that view personal.

What some people don’t get is that it isn’t what’s right with government employees, it’s what’s wrong with them.

Granted, some are a bargain to the taxpayer, but there are just too many that aren’t and too much government fat that needs trimmed…

Difference with the federal sector, our employers are our taxpayers and for most agencies, managed by the executive branch.

Thus, it's not near the same as yammering about employees of Dell Computers on this forum. I've not seen hate presented within this thread that comes close to matching the discussions w/in HT threads.

Everyone of us has a vested interest in our federal workforce. Hense, forum debate/arguments/discussions are gojng to bring these threads into the...15th-16th page.

Federal employees occasionally and (or) intentionally forget the roll as public servants.

Tack that with 48% voters for Harris and 50%votes for Trump.

All good. Keep on, keeping on. /carry on.

Wtf is a rube?

You’ll need one either on your desk or on the dash of your GSA.

You called yourself a peasant. I used rube as a synonym closely matching hill jack. Sarcasm.

How's the elk hunting?
They love food and have got a robust hunting culture to procure wild game. Red stags (closest they’ve got to elk), mouflon, and chamois in the Alps, Pyrenees and other mountain ranges; roe deer, boar and a smattering of upland birds in the low lands. Plenty of trout fishing. Access to their public land is good as well. They beheaded their landed aristocracy way back when, so it’s a pretty egalitarian affair. Their big sporting goods stores all have hunting sections to boot.

This is type of unsupported accusation people are taking about. Would be more honest to just admit a huge bias that can't be dissuaded by facts or reason.

I think some of you “doth protest too much”, but carry on, as a former federal employee I love to hear about how awesome I am.
