Nice pic again you got there dave, The rat would of been a bat for the other guy once they told me I was a scare tactic. Try sending the vid to me by email and I will see if I can fix that avi problem. if you creat a account threw photobucket dave they will format it and you would be able to post vids here. Well tomorrow it be the first of five til next weekend. chin up and have a good week, There should be mail arriveing to you dave from the ranger station, don't forget to apply for your license and for that doe draw guys. Mines in and I await the answer,later.

This is the letter I sent to Bear customer service tonight.

"Good evening.

I had purchased this bow recently in good shootable condition. I let a friend draw it back that was not used to a compound. as he was trying to let it off the string rolled off his fingers and the bow was dry fired. After close inspection I have found that the upper limb has been damaged.
I have attached photos for you to take a look at for me and in your opinion does this require a replacement limb? If you think it should be replaced do you have any replacement limbs in stock. I am located in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada and there is no dealers in the area. If you do have a limb can you give me some idea as to the cost of sending it here?
The specs of this bow are listed below:

I did not see a thing on the limb the other night but I thought I should check it again before I shot tonight and found the limb damaged. I think I am going to throw up as I have already sold my old bow. This s u c k s.
 
Like I stated befor, ebay a great site for finding things. I just need to get the nerve up to trust those places. Is there amy way you can email the person you got the bow from? I don't know how to say this but to be straight up, I email the person to find out is he would repay you back for selling you a damage limb. Once from a dry shot is clearly not your fault. That way it would give you a idea if you could ever buy a weapon from the same person ever again. Second does ebay have any kind of policy where you got to back your item for 30 days after its been sold/bought? I feel for you bruce, and I hope that they will replace your limb,let me know what they say. I'll send a email from here to them and go up to bat for you as well :) letting them know we like there bear product they might reconsitor and issue you a limb. gentlemen it is friday morning and I hope you all have a good weekend.
 
Too bad about the bow, Still. Maybe 'Bear Manufacturers' would have some suggestions in repair and/or replacement. Not a good way to start a long weekend.
 
Great news bruce, glad thing are working out for you and your new bear. Dave I was sitting on the hill friday night and I seen a turkey in the field. We caught each other eye at the same time so she left and that was it for the night. Saturday I figure to sit out around the same time and like clock work she came out again. I was ready and watch her threw the tall grass as she made her way towards the berry, I could not see any little ones threw my bino's, After 30 minutes she step out in a strip I cut with the ride on and out came at least 8 little ones. They were smaller then the one on the trail came. Must of been a late batch. And my camera is up to 16 pics. I move it a couple times around the same area. Well time to get out and do something this sunday morning, have a great long weekend guys.
 
Hi guys, I just got back from taking the missus away for a fish and a nite out in the tent. Fishing was pretty good and got another limit for the BBQ at todays family gathering. I didn't sleep much last nite as I am not used to tenting out, and it will probably be a long nite tonite at my brothers camp, but it''ll be fun. I've attached some photos of fish, wildlife and the missus at the olde shangra-la. Yes, she outfished me as well.

it seems that every time I'm hungry I log on here just to see dark red clean trout. Nice going on the fish dave. And i'm not surprise the wife out fish you as well. She beats you in games and all lol. Maybe she can give you yips/pointer in crib as well. Ok I need to eat now I jsut got back.
 
Ever get that feeling that some kind of BS is about to come down the pipe line. I just drop my truck off at "Expert Tire" and the last time there they try to charge me $680 worth of parts which I got them done for $200 else where. Reason why I had to go back there is cause when they put my new tires on last Nov they some how pick up a smaller lugnut and sunk it in pass the wheelwell. And for some reason they didn't see it, Long story short they had to fix it for free. Now I drop it off and they say they are running alittle late :rolleyes: like I herd that befor, the guy standing there ask me if i'm going to get the other work done for $680 I said nope I got it done else where. Told the guy I need my truck for the hoilday so either they get it done or I get it back. I make a bet but I know with the way thing around here work that I would win, So unlike "experttire" I won't take your guys $$$ :D But I know I'm going to go there and my truck will need more work done. which I will go to my new place if that happens. Wife said they might try to charge me for the work on the lugnut, Like to see that happen. The guy said that they made the mistake and it was free of charge, I had to laff when he said that, I allso said to him it better be free since I spent over $600 for new tire. I can not wait til I get that BS call. Well time to get thing ready for the hoilday, have a good one guys.
 
well my truck must be one of a kind, They could not locate a new bolt to fit my lugnuts, And they are getting me a new rim to replace the one they cut. After four hours they found a steel bolt and I'm going to drive my stare tire til they get both bolt/rim. Then it is sailaveee for ever with these so call pro's. I'm sticking with a auto place that does not change there workers every month. Guy said he throw in a couple oil changes and there is no way that place is going to work on my truck Laffs. Not happy but what can you do, live and learn not to return. I allso ask how can someone screw up like that and they said the guy is no longer working with them cause he did alot of mistakes. "expert tire" hummm :rolleyes: I need to sign up there for a job :D

Have a great weekend Trent. You taking tomorrow off as well?? Hows the garden, or did one get planted?? The weather is great here, cool nites, low 20s during the day. Little bit of rain, mostly sun. Calling for rain on Sat, I was going for a ATV trip to Mcadam and back on that day, but I don't think that is going to happen in the rain.

Good morning everyone. Hope that you all had a great weekend. Dave how was the fishing this weekend, you got enought fish stalk up for hunting season :D Bruce I hope that you got the limb for your bow and have it fix and up and running this coming weekend.Weather here has been nice and hot, I manage to pull the bow out of the case and shoot a few rounds. I tell you my arms are not use to shooting and I felt it hump . After shooting a half hour I did a robin hood shot and ruin two arrows :mad: this si the second time I did that. I'm keeping this one and hanging it on the wall :rolleyes: . The other arrows are at the basspro shop here hanging up on the wall. well I got a few pics to down load from the deer cam so I be right back in a few.
