Dave that is a different mothers day gift. Maybe I could go down to basspro and pick up a four wheeler for mom and explain to jeanne she wants one. I manage to get a quick video. Not to much but it was better then nothing.

Meat taste the same as you would of got it at the store bruce. Had it saturday night. I didn't keep any thing from the tom. threw the fan out and the legs are hanging in a tree waiting for a animal to take it. The beard is there as well. I'm heading out for a late season hunt for fiddleheads tonight. Will see if I'm to late or not. have a good one all.

i'm guessing with bruce comment and dave remark the next day is that the weather person was right for a change and in a bad way. Send me a pic dave if there is any left on the ground. It is ok here but the temps are low and we didn't turn on the AC last night or tonight for a change. Tomorrow last day of work and then i'm off looking after the animals again. Not to sure on what to do with my self this coming weekend. Have a good one guys and i'll see you later.

Yes, weather is crappy (cold, wet). Did snow some, but didn't stay here. I guess in Fredericton it was white for a while. But it is bloody cold. This is a long weekend and I hope to do some fishing. I don't like getting frozen doing though. Hopefully I get some pics. You going after another turkey Trent? Keep the pics and stories coming. Hey Still, have a good weekend, don't forget that the moose applications have started ( I think).

Unless I get the last minute urge dave. I don't feel up to going out til this fall when you get here. And getting up every weekend at 4:30am dose not appeal to me at all. I think i'm going to just relax this weekend, I found out monday that i'm about two weeks late getting fiddleheads. They are fully grown out.Time for bed and I'm thinking this is going to be a relax and do as little as possible weekend.

well get those calls in and good luck eveyone. Wife love the meat she try out for the first time last year. She say it taste the same. I forgot this is your long weekend there and I hope you are doing good with the fishing dave. Bruce you got any plans as well? I didn't even get up early and go hunting this weekend. and next weekend is the time the gardening starts. Might try planting one, will see what takes place.

Well Friday and Saturday were washouts, but Sunday wasn't so bad so Cub, Cub's father-in-law, and I went for a fish yesterday afternoon. We didn't get too wet and caught a few fish. Saw lots of partridge ( and a spruce partridge --see photo) and tons of rabbits. It was a depressing weekend till able to get away. Today I'll do a little more work in my garage, have the grandkids over, and clean up. All in all a pretty good weekend after all.
