Would be handy of there was a way waypoint type/icon with a phone on it, so I could easily tell which waypoints are ones that mark cell service.

i just got back from a trip in wyoming and was having troubles with my phone,{5yr old droid} locking up every time i set a waypoint or location?,,would have to bail out of on x and rehit the app to continue for some reason.also had issues with phone battery draining very fast when on {tracker} is it the app or my phone battery?usually i have no issues,,of course i turned my phone compltely off and rebooted a number of times,but its still locking up when i mark waypoints??

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago. Did you by chance keep switching airplane mode on and off?

My SOP: phone is in airplane mode before I open onx and stays in airplane mode while using the app.

Ok @onX Hunt , it seems every time I’m out and about lately, the polka dots/sign-in boxes/ indicators disappear on all BMA land when I need it most. Usually stays gone for hours. Happens on both saved maps and not. Tried shutting phone off and backing out of app, nothing helps.
Second question- how can I help my buddy enable “pinch to rotate” on his onx? Mine lets me, but I don’t see that option in the settings anymore…?

Sorry about the trouble with the BMA boxes! Do you notice any differences in whether those boxes show as you zoom in and out? Do they seem to disappear as you zoom out farther, but reappear as you zoom in closer, for example?
If you go into the settings on your friend's phone, you should see an option that says "Lock North up in 2D." If you turn that setting off, you should be able to rotate the map with two fingers like you are able to on your phone.
