2023 Garden!

Started our plants off as seeds in a greenhouse box on the porch this year. That and a new raised bed, and maybe 400-500 lbs of compost has made a huge difference. Starting seeds in that box saved us a bunch of money.

Jealous of the long growing season for some.

Replanted peas yesterday, first batch was 100% no show. Hail wiped out about 1/2 my cucumbers which were started in a cold frame (which worked great as an experiment thus year) , potatoes have sprouted and are shooting up, carrots, beans and tomatoes all making good progress

are those soaker hoses or do you have an emitter buried under there at each plant? I just plumbed my wife's beds into our sprinkler system and did drip. Any lessons learned to pass along?

It's half inch drip tubing with a hole about every 8 to 10 in if I remember right. So far they've been working great. Installing automatic irrigation was our major improvement to the garden this year and we have utilized the Rachio control center that has an integrated app so I can water from my phone.
