Hey Randy, I don't get to watch MANY of your episodes so maybe I missed the answer. What do you do with all the meat you end up with? Surely you can't eat all of it. Just kind of curious since it seems like any of the TV show hosts normally take quite a few animals in a season of shows. It adds up to a LOT of meat! Thanks for the site. I get lots of info and enjoyment from it, and just may have made a new friend through here.
Hi Randy, first of all, I love your show and everything you stand for on public land/DIY adventures. Just saw the Bison hunt episode and noticed your rifle carrier on your hipbelt. What the heck is that I need one. Thanks!
We are hunting elk in Newcastle, co. The snow at our camp is 21 inches with more to come. Question is do we head for lower country with more pressure or stick it out in high country
Thanks Randy do you think we would still have success closer to those skiff renting areas? Please feel free to give us a call if you make it into Casper I would love to meet you! Most of all Good luck with the elk hunt for they have evaded us this year.
Hi Randy.
Anne and I Are interested in the bear hunts you do in Alaska. I was just wondering about how much do you think a trip like would cost for the 2 of us. That's including a skiff and a forest service cabin.
Thanks for your input!
Hi Randy, Just wanted to say Thanks for all you've done for the common man. Living in Michigan and being a want-to-be western hunter isn't an easy task. Hunts don't come as often as for some but still have to be thankful for the ones that do. Keep up the good work and God bless.
hello Randy.
I was born and raised in Montana and grew up chasing the elusive Rocky Mountain Elk. I saw your episode on fresh tracks in the Gila NF. Lots of respect for you for showing what unfortunately happens to all hunters at some point in our lives. You handled like a real hunter. i was raised and still believe in the old school fair chase methods, its a way of life really. Props to you. I'm heading out bow hunting in SW Montana on Sept 16th. Would you like to come along? No cameras, or if you want cameras, you can't show any distinguishable land features. I would prefer to just find an occasional hunting partner who follows the same tracks I do. We will definitely see elk.
What are the sponsorship opportunities for the show / forum etc. We produce lightweight tents, stoves and to a certain degree packs. The sites are seekoutside.com and paradoxpacks.com
Hi Randy,
I just found out that I drew and either sex whitetail tag here in CO. Any advice on white tails as I have never hunted them before. Thanks, Andy
Randy, I really enjoy the show and love your feelings on things. Seeing as how Mrs. Fin has allocated land near the big town of Saco on your way through Great Falls would love to have a cup or a beer and just talk and maybe learn a little from you or just hunt talk. You are my kinda guy! Thanks for your effort!! Hope to meet ya! Will be in Helena the 18th.
Randy this is Dan Moore I had to change my name from Bigdan to MTELKHUNTER to get on your site and how do you post a photo? And you need some camo caps. good job in Helena
I'm a rookie elk hunter and am putting in for my first draw attempt thus year after going on a private land cow hunt back in November. I get a lot out of your shows and they are great inspiration to guys like myself who don't have a huge hunting fund
I saw your post on FB. I believe I have tagged you in a pic, but it was of a huge antelope that I had taken a pic of and just wanted you to see it. Sorry for that.
