Leupold BX-4 Rangefinding Binoculars

WY HB286

Legislatures have already given game commissioners authority to create seasons and quotas.

You indicated above you approve of this bill where legislatures will directly make radical changes to big game seasons (eliminating them altogether for this species) and big game quotas (eliminating them altogether for this species.)

Just so that we're all clear on this: Is it the official position of BHA that state legislatures should write game seasons and quotas instead of commissioners...or just you?
I think you should try some remedial comprehension courses...

Try reading again, you know what was actually in the reply.

Not your imaginary pretend.

As a refresher, I asked you if you were taking 15-29 of your friends out to kill lions this year.

I then reminded you that legislatures have the ability to strip authority from the commission.

The commissions also can't unilaterally do things arbitrarily without being granted authority by the legislature. For an example, raising license fees in Wyoming, the legislature must give that authority to the commission.

Like it or not, that's how it works outside of fantasyland.

Buzz, you know that this bill is the legislature's attempt to bypass the commission to drastically change seasons and quotas for a big game species based on private interests. You know this. You support this.

So again:

Taking your imaginary pretend to places it's never been before.

Impressive.

Id have to imagine - just buzz - and im not sure he ever outlined his position anyway?

His position is that bypassing the commission is acceptable if the end result is something he and BHA wants.

Raising tag prices and setting seasons and quotas are two different things, and he knows this, but won't acknowledge this.

He dug himself into a corner just trying to be argumentative, and now won't acknowledge he and the organization he is president of are fine with legislatures bypassing the commission.

Do you author children's fairytale's?

If not, you should.

This is a dogshit bill from a representative who's still butthurt about being removed from the Game and Fish Commission. The Legislature has no business directing the Game a Fish Department to modify their management strategies. Wildlife should be managed by professionals, not politicians.

Yes...many here don't understand that. To them, if the ends justify the means, it's fine...unless it is something they don't want.

All for trapping and no we don't need to harvest the meat, treat them like the predators they are.
I agree, trapping should be a legal means of take. License still required and quotas.

No reason hound hunters should have the market cornered.

I would be way more into trapping a lion than shooting another one out of a tree.
