March Madness: **WINNERS ANNOUNCED!** Posts #105-107!

@Sytes I like your post on identifying the winner. I agree it needs to be a member of HT. I need UofH to come through for me. Picking the overall winner really moves you up in the standings.

~Spotlight for these three great wildlife conservation organizations~

@warmer donation towards the South Dakota Wildlife Federation!
"SDWF is an affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation, the largest conservation organization in the world. The close working relationship between the state and national organizations ensures effective, coordinated conservation action at all levels of government.
For over sixty-five years, SDWF has been leading the fight to protect the interests of South Dakota’s current and future outdoor sports enthusiasts.
"

"As early as 1945, a group of concerned outdoor enthusiasts recognized that public access to the state’s natural resources would be lost if they didn’t act. As a result, they established the South Dakota Wildlife Federation (SDWF), the state’s most important voice in the protection of hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation.

SDWF is the state’s oldest conservation organization and the state’s only conservation organization actively involved in developing legislative policy impacting outdoor sporting activities. Its political arm, the Camo Coalition, employs two full-time lobbyists to monitor legislative action concerning South Dakota’s outdoor recreation. SDWF also works closely with the state’s Game, Fish and Parks Department to develop wildlife management policies.

@PRO MO donation towards the Arizona Deer Association!
"Nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to improving habitat and expanding Arizona’s mule deer and Coues deer herds."

"To fulfill our mission, we raise funds from members, the public, and private sources. These funds support projects, education, and programs that directly benefit Arizona's deer herds and their habitat."

A fantastic project with boots on the ground and donations supporting this endeavor for Arizona wildlife

@Jwill donation towards the Fish & Wildlife Volunteers!
"Fish & Wildlife Volunteers exists to help ordinary businesses and people do extraordinary volunteer work for wildlife and wild places."

"Since 2016, through our parent organization 2% for Conservation, we have certified tens of millions of dollars and tens of thousands of hours volunteered to fish and wildlife conservation.

In the Spring of 2025, we pivoted our primary certification programming to focus exclusively on certifying volunteer hours and helping businesses and individuals benefit from and be more effective in their conservation volunteering.

This programming change is fully in pursuit of our core mission and values.
