why the code name

Being outdoors is more enjoyable when the weather’s fair, so…

Ironically(?) blacktail is this far my favorite thing to hunt, and that’s best done in the nastiest weather you can find hahaha. I do like the warm sunny early season, just never actually expect to see a deer if it’s not raining.

The mountains I grew up in and still
occupy - 1300 sq miles of Montana - were officially nameless until 1986.

That said, there’s still a large nameless range in Montana - 30 miles of Continental Divide - that as far as the US Board of Geographic Names is concerned, are unnamed and anonymous. I think that’s cool.

But don’t tell the President, please.

College nickname.

Mostly got it because I was a library-dwelling science major who didn't do much besides study. My friends thought it was funny.

Craziest thing I did was finals week of my last term, I went with the buddy who gave me the name, and we caught couple of squawfish/pikeminnow out of the Willamette. We brought them back and dumped them in the water feature in the student union building. Just wild crazy, as you can tell.

Got my first Brittany in 83 and hunted chukar a LOT with that bloodline until a few years ago.
You mean to tell me your name isn't Brittany? Ever since I joined this forum I thought you had a badass name, kind of like a boy named Sue, and a guy that can catch fish. But no. Now I've come to realize it's all a sham. SOB!!!! I'm devastated.

Mine was simple my initials (ccc) and zip code at time (23454) It was my orginial email address when the internet was created so I simply always used as screen names becuase why overthink it. I don't like to change things that work for sake of change. Still have same email address hell I still have my orginal cell# after numerous duty stations, retirement and a cross country move.

I’m a little Irish and back in the day outlaws were known as a “Wolfshead”.
If caught and slain, their heads were carried to the king, “for they were no more to be accounted for than wolves.” - in old English law.
