why the code name

So if I guy named his kid Nikolas, but nicknamed Nikos (greek spelling, after a family member) that would be bad? Asking for a friend.
There’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, I like t my name Nicholas fine. It was just natural as kid grown int up that close family tended to call me Nicholas and everyone else at school ect called me Nick. You grow up, go to college, get jobs, ect ect and you’re able to dictate for the most part what everyone calls you. So when someone whom you haven’t had a chance to educate calls you “Nicholas” as an adult, it just feels weird and doesn’t sound right. That’s been my experience anyway.
I will say that no one’s ever called my Nicky. If there’s ever a time when someone does, I’m going to do my best to make sure it’s the last

When I started hunting here in WI with our crew, we all had walkie-talkies and handles to keep our communications secret from the neighbors (and because it’s more fun that way).
A few of us had used some pro-wrasslin names… mostly stolen from ECW… so being the youngest of the group I took Little Guido.
Midweek we had done a couple small pushes and when I was coming to meet the rest of the guys, I bumped two does and we still aren’t sure if it was intentional or misheard, but my dad’s cousin called me Beagle instead of Guido, but it stuck.

Chasing what ? These ?
Nope...
