I'm still trying to get used to $1.59 being a great price. It seems like yesterday .99 was easy to come by. That ain't coming back.
Better than the 2.99/lb listed price! I get that sentiment though. I don’t live in a pork producing region, not sure if that matters anymore.
I grew up with hog farmers and we were practically given pork for free.

I don't think it does. Prices here are the same as what your sticker shows and I can literally see 4 different hog confinements from my place. It sure felt like a hell of a deal when you could feed 15 people for like $10. $16 ain't bad either.

Damn, I just bought some legs for .97/lb.
Locally I’m lucky to find them under $2/lb. Jumped on one without having the freezer space to justify it last week at $1.49.

How do you get that good bark? I always either need to reverse seer or I overcook trying to get a good bark like that! Looks PERFECT!
I think round these parts it’s called Brazilian Pichaña also
