Utah Paunsagunt Archery Deer

I found live blogging to be an unneeded distraction and stressor.

I hope he has pages of notes, 1 G of live and field photos, and a bidding war between Eastmans, Muley Crazy and Western Hunter for the story.
And an ugly fat 230” muley to show for it all

He wouldn't be the only bowhunter to do that. I have a friend with quite a few PY and BC kills to his credit and in the low light center punched the forky in front of the big buck. I had a lot more respect for the guy when he told the rest of the story.

He went MIA from other sites as well where he was detailing the hunt

Guess you shouldn't brag about what you're seeing before you kill it! Minions are quick to find you. ;)

I don’t think he owes us anything. Folks chitting on him over his story may not sit well.
Ok, maybe I used too extreme of a comment.

No one owes anyone anything, sure, I agree.

But, why start a thread on a coveted deer tag and not finish it? At least the dude with the mountain goat tag came back and closed the story for us, good or bad. I respect the man for taking the tongue lashing he did, rooted for him to get a goat too. There was a lot of people rooting for the dude.

We’re all rooting for Zim too (at least I am) we’re just being jealous meme-sters cuz we all want the tag he got. Just feel like a thread starter should have some obligation to close out the story they started.

I was definitely rooting for him, if anything would cause total heart failure a 230” buck would. For a mortal like me just seeing the numbers of quality bucks he was looking at would push me over the edge!

He's probably shut down because he said he was being shadowed. Good for him. Zim has a lot of guys who do not agree with him on forums but the guy is a great hunter and has killed some impressive animals in his life. I am sure he gave it his all. Hope to hear a final report.

Agreed- I enjoy his recaps, he has done a few cool hunts in the past few years that I have been interested in following along.

I hope he just got distracted with family and got a nice one.

So, moving along....I really want to see a photo of a 230" deer. I didn't think they existed and I'm pretty sure we are about to see one.
