Everyone knows where he stands on the issues that were going to be debated in the first place...and there were reports after the debate that there were people planted in the room to give him $hit...so why would he set himself up for crap? And you know Megan wouldn't run a fair debate and stick to the issues....I still think skipping the debate was brilliant on his part. And it showed Fox's true colors by them begging him to join the debate right up to the end.

I liked that point earlier in the process when he was thinking out loud about charging the network (forget which one) $5,000,000.00 for him to show up and debate. I think it was tongue-in-cheek but it was spot on and brilliant. They were going to make a killing with his presence. Why not? Those a-holes are all about ratings and his political reality show. ALL the candidates should have said that, or we all go to PBS or some non-commercial network. Only the Donald.

And you won't see him kissing Saudi princes asses or paying Iran billions or dealing weapons to terrorists or apologizing to the world after we get a terrorist attack either.... The man has stones for sure. And has demonstrated what I want in a leader as far as public lands. My vote is not a done deal. Gonna be watching very closely. mtmuley

This is my dilemma....I think Trump is bat$hit crazy, but somewhat brilliant at the same time. He is pro military, veterans, 2nd amendment, and public lands, which are important issues to me. I think he could be good for the economy and would put Americans back to work and keep the illegals from getting so much of a handout and taking jobs. I think he might actually get the alternate energy businesses going instead of big talk and stalling on them. I think he'll get us using our own oil. I think he'll make us more independent in the global economy. I'm not sure what his stand is on taxes and insurance coverage, which is my own fault. I'm definitely anti-Democrat and hope Hillary ends up in prison. But, all in all, I think Trump could be just the crazy that the country needs to turn around and be great again and be a factor in the world again instead of a laughing stock.

Not saying he isn't batshit crazy at times, but do you have names of any other candidate who does not have similar traits in other areas? I think I could use that term to describe certain positions/actions of every single candidate in the game, including Trump.

They said that about Reagan. The day he was sworn into office the hostages in Iran were released after a years of being held during rule of a wimp POTUS.(kind of like we have now)

I'm not sure Trump is quite as crazy as he occasionally comes across. I'm starting to see he understands how to play the game better than the traditional politicians. The whole deal with Fox was very well played by Trump. He saw the game they were trying to play and called them on it. Cruz and Fox came away the losers. I want someone who will simply say it like it is. Too often candidates just stand their and say a lot of meaningless words, promising the world, with no possible way to deliver. He doesn't do that. And the fact that he supports our public land is a big deal. I was very concerned that as a big city kind of guy he wouldn't care in the slightest about the public land issue. Somebody got to him on this and he appears to be on our side.

How he calls out the media and everybody else is refreshing. I think he'll have a field day with Hillary or Bernie. Most importantly, he'll call out the media and their extreme bias. The NY Times has already thrown in for Hillary for example. Trump will say things in the debates to shut down the media and make people think. It's refreshing if nothing else.
