Bill: You have to see the Gambinis in action. I mean, these people, they love to argue. I mean, they live to argue.
Stan: My parents argue too, it doesn't make them good lawyers.
Bill: Stan, I've seen your parents argue. Trust me, they're amateurs."

dukes_daddy said " Nobody is coming to take your guns. Get over the fear."

At least not today they aren't. If Obama and the current crop of liberal Democrats get their way, they might come after them tomorrow, next month, next year, or ten years from now. The problem is that They Do Want to Take Our Guns Away!!!!!!!!! Failure to recognize this fact is akin to an ostrich hiding it's head in the sand! The alternative is to take them on NOW and prevent them from achieving their stated goals. ( Just read Feinstein, Shumer, Pelosi, Bloomberg, et al, and their stated goals.)

I don't fear the government. I am disgusted with the facist (Tea Party) movement. Google search a image of that chinless wonder Cruz marching on the WWII monument with confederate flags and tell me it doesn't look like a Mussolini or Hitler rally. Ironic fascists marching in some self professed show at the monument dedicated to the brave men who defeated fascism.

Remember this nut
"You feel a bond with this community. The bond is that they're fellow gun owners and believe in gun rights and survivalists and freedom lovers," said McVeigh.

Gun nut culture is not about hunting, sportsmen and conservation the things I cherish and promote.

I've seen that look before... they are thinking "a man that can make a radio out of coconuts can probably make a banana vibrate."

LOL

This is how it went on the island.

Howell's

Skipper & Gilligan

Professor, Ginger & MaryAnn. Hence why the coconut radio never got them off the island. The dude was set!!

dukes_daddy, how in the world can you begin to equate the tea party (anti-tax and less government spending) with the fascists? The Confederacy certainly wasn't a fascist nation, and although some skin head groups have stolen our symbols, that doesn't by any means indicate that any Confederate battle standard represents a fascist movement or ideology. In fact, the tea party movement is very similar to the Confederacy, in it's opposition to unfair taxation and the Federal government's intrusion into the individual state's rights and the rights of the people to have fair representation. Your distorted and biased views against the tea party movement are more indicative of your left leaning political views and support of the socialist movement rather than an intelligent discourse on the merits of fighting an ever growing intrusion by the Feds into the lives and rights of the American people. Just as the Confederate States seceded from the Union in an attempt to throw off the unfair tax burdens being placed on a disproportionate group of citizens and allow free trade with European nations without Northern restrictions, the tea party movement simply wants the Federal government to live up to the Constitutional rights of the individual states and citizens without forcing an intrusion into the state's abilities to follow their laws as guaranteed under the Articles of Confederation and the US Constitution as written by the founders of the US.

I used to defend people like you from the gun community that wanted to call you a bunch of Elmer Fudd, over and under shotgun lovers. I'm beginning to see their point and will no longer take up for those that don't care about everybody else's gun rights.

You don't seem to understand that hunting would be the next thing to go once the guns are gone. The "gun nut community" as you like to call it is much bigger and more organized than the hunting community and the anti hunting community is. Just look what a couple of guys on ar15.com did in Colorado.

SD anti-access bill, sonspored by a republican:

Looks like there were several attempts to take sportsmen dollars and give them to Wildlife Services under the boondogle of predator control too:

Bad news Ben. I went to look up Kristi Noem's wildlife record and, well, never got that far. Long story short, I'll be moving to SD and hunting lots of pheasants with my new friend BigRack who is going to show me the way to the R office to get a new card. Sorry man, I'm afraid you'll be on your own from here on out.

Really?? constitutionalists are "facist" Maybe you don't fear the government because you like being taken care of by them, or benefit from the tax money re-allocated in your favor.

The recent NSA stuff should have EVERYONE fearing the government. If you don't you're ignorant. Governments throughout history and around the world today do some pretty crappy things to their citizens.

Didn't say the confederacy was fascist. Tea party is with their zealist views to create conflict and disrupt civil order.

Actually a centrist. Voted for Reagan, Clint, GW and Obama. I wanted McCain in 08 who I feel is a true American leader but he got hijacked by the jack booted crowd including that whack from Alaska. Republicans need to purge the Tea Party if they want to ever win a national election. Romney went the way of McCain and lost. The best candidate was Hunstman but he didn't violate his principals and views to serve all American so he could not win in the primary.

Your history is wrong about the Confederacy. It was about slavery. You know owning, selling, abusing other humans. Lack of human dignity of life, liberty and justice outlined in the Constitution you quote about the second amendment. Do you really believe it was about taxes? 400,000 dead and a nation ripped about over taxes?? Thank god Lincoln had the will to wage war against the Confederacy to preserve the union.

I'm sure in the 30's when the government banned automatic weapons some relative of yours was moaning "maybelle they are gonna take my shotgun and we won't be able to hunt squirrels". Well you still have your shotgun. Get over the fear.

Please tell me the reference to "a couple of guys on ar15 did in Colorado" is not respect for the people who killed innocents with assault weapons?

Please expand. How is it you see a bunch of Vets with Constitution believing politicians march to a monument that was closed for pure BS reasons....and pull down the barricades and throw them on the lawn of the WH fascist or zealist?
Do you think we need bigger Government? maybe they should take over all 401K's too? (Pelosi mentioned that) they did so well with SS. How about taking over all mail and parcel deliveries? The post office is so great at that. How about taking over our health care? yea they do so great with that already lets let them handle the rest. Take over all private schools because they are so crappy compared to public, take over all roads because townships can't even manage that. Lets let them do exactly what wars were fought to keep them from doing.... Let them grow bigger and bigger and lets see what other country we look just like and see what our tax rate will be.
