Are you cross, or just butthurt?...it's tough to tell. They also go by Steve Rinella. And that’s a fact.
Neither does fakebook, cell phones, people not keeping their yap's shut, etc. etc. etc.Meateater collectively doesn’t do any favors in keeping hunting in MT fairly lowkey and less spoken of.
Agreed. YouTube and Instagram likely contribute to it also. A few videos directly showing signs of some greta Block Management in montana where guys end up shooting nice bucks. I guess that doesn’t do any favours. You’re right that it’s not just one group of people to blame. I agree. Times definitely change.Neither does fakebook, cell phones, people not keeping their yap's shut, etc. etc. etc.
Sorry, the way back machine doesn't exist.
Its always kind of funny that those typically squawking the loudest are the ones that can't remember when the internet didn't exist. They never had to use snail mail for an application booklet. They never had to apply by paper and front 10K+ to apply as a NR either.
Anyone remember when huntin' fool was a 3-5 page newsletter that was photo-copied and stapled together?
The high pitched whining and blame game is as dumb as it is fascinating.
I haven’t had bad experiences hunting here, in fact I never have any issues finding new places to explore, but what I do hear in conversation and online are instances and conversations like the one this thread covers. If most people spent as much time hunting as they did bitching about hunting, they'd find it isn't as bad as they think.
I don't even begin to have enough time to hunt everything I want to in the State I live in.
I just don't have that tough of a time getting away from people. It also could be the places I hunt are so shitty that people don't even talk about them?![]()
Actually a pretty great Bino harness. One click was all I gave if you can look the other way on the FHF gear bino harness I picked up last year.
What is cross? Are you cross, or just butthurt?...it's tough to tell.
I'd say 8 million acres of access via corner crossing is a pretty valuable thing.
Maybe try hiking and getting away from the seat of a vehicle.

Just out of curiosity, what do you do for a living?I hunt about 100 days a year. Staying vigilant and calling out massive hypocrisy isnt bitching.
Congrats on your honey holes, hopefully a camera crew comes through soon and helps you out. You'd like that right? Just making sure you're consistent in your views...
Just out of curiosity, what do you do for a living?
Seems like a great career with nearly a third of the year to spend at just hunting.Sell vegetable seed and R&D, why?

There's nothing to deflect about. What is cross?
Way to deflect and avoid my 1st response because you know its the cold truth that you're unwilling to acknowledge for whatever inconvenient reason!
Huh? You're implying you somehow know my methods of filling my freezer every year. Interesting, and so precious its cute.
Out of curiosity and hope, do you see any progress on corner crossing being fully legal in MT any time soon? I hope so. Lots of great ground would be accessible. There's nothing to deflect about.
Meateater and Rinella both stepped up in a big way to support corner crossing while nearly every other public land advocacy influencers hid under the bed.
That's just a fact.
But, by all means, carry on...I can hardly wait for the next installment of foot stamping, throwing your sucker in the dirt, and holding your breath.
Oh, and FYI:
adjective
- angry and annoyed; ill-humored; snappish:
Don't be cross with me.
If the 10th ruling is favorable, absolutely.Out of curiosity and hope, do you see any progress on corner crossing being fully legal in MT any time soon? I hope so. Lots of great ground would be accessible.
It’s already legal. Even if Gianforte disagrees…Out of curiosity and hope, do you see any progress on corner crossing being fully legal in MT any time soon? I hope so. Lots of great ground would be accessible.
I'm thinking the correct answer is, "it's never been illegal", and there is a difference. It’s already legal. Even if Gianforte disagrees…
Hope so. Will open up an unbelievable amount of great stuff. If the 10th ruling is favorable, absolutely.
I'll give you the playbook and you can take the flack.
