Its always kind of funny that those typically squawking the loudest are the ones that can't remember when the internet didn't exist. They never had to use snail mail for an application booklet. They never had to apply by paper and front 10K+ to apply as a NR either.

I don't even begin to have enough time to hunt everything I want to in the State I live in.

Agreed. YouTube and Instagram likely contribute to it also. A few videos directly showing signs of some greta Block Management in montana where guys end up shooting nice bucks. I guess that doesn’t do any favours. You’re right that it’s not just one group of people to blame. I agree. Times definitely change.

I haven’t had bad experiences hunting here, in fact I never have any issues finding new places to explore, but what I do hear in conversation and online are instances and conversations like the one this thread covers.

I hunt about 100 days a year. Staying vigilant and calling out massive hypocrisy isnt bitching.

The main reason, although I loved it, I quit farming. Money isn't ever going to be great, but time with family and outdoors is more important.
