Not much else to do in MT this time of year other than ski ;)

Took the son for a lap on The Ridge at Bridger. It is a long way and 2300' vertical to the peak on the far right

It won't bother me when he can carry his own skis... (and elk)

And down Hidden Gully he goes

Ben Franklin wanted them to be the National Symbol. I am glad he failed in that attempt.

That looks like a pretty awesome day BHR.

This afternoon I watched a helluva storm blast out of the Boulder Batholith and smash straight into the Elkhorns. Lots of hail, lightning, and wind.

Saw my first mule deer fawn yesterday in Yellowstone. Dumb shit walked out in the middle of the road and lay down. I got him off the road, but several cars stopped. I am sure a Yellowstone traffic jam soon occurred.

Anyway, here is a bison that was looking for a ride.

Coming back from Denver last weekend, my wife and I saw a newborn antelope fawn. Still stumbling in its walk. Should have pulled over a got a picture. Stupidly, I told my wife if they are birthing, we see more. Wrong. Exhilarating view.

Also, saw 3 bull elk in velvet in the plains.

Made the trip/

60 miles out of Raton, NM in the plains.

Fun.
