Whooo'da Thunk...I survived 'Nam when I was too young to know I was that stupid, then volunteered for 'The Storm" and again, aside of a sprained ankle, all was well. Now I'm in an elongated transition of retiring (again, for good, again).

But that's not what this is about. My nephew wanted to borrow a shotgun so he and his buddies could spend money, waste shells and educate doves & ducks. So, I lent him Dad's Ithaca Featherweight 12 ga and my Moss 500 20 Ga. That was 2 yrs ago....

Remember "Retirement"?? Hang on, we're getting there.

Did I mention I just bought a townhouse ?

So, I've got a day off and just lazing out, streaming some comedy movie from Russia, when my brain snapped! You haven't gone pheasant hunting this year !!! (n)o_O(n)

Oh, wait a sec, Mr. nephew has both of the shotguns. What is a Retired (2x) man to do ??????

Ding Ding Ding !!!

Yes, Jethro, Buy a new one !!

My 1st O/U. Another 20 ga.

That is what this is all about.
