We got off probably after 6.... We had a the Blue paddle raft, and kind of a teal Oar Boat with a Kayak strapped on. By that time we all had a beer in our hands...

Saw a couple of deer close to the river on the lower stretch of the Main.

Yeah, we would have had to have been on the side of the road with the water.... That raft wears you out too much if you are carrying it along the Hill side of the road...

They are much nicer if you use the river to float them...

At the top of Whitewater 101, there is a cool looking little white care under the river.... Somebody else must not have "slamed" on the brakes....

YAH,We got stuck in the traffic when the Car came off the Road on Friday night... lik a 1/2 hour delay. I was in Crouch for the shakspeere festival. We saw "GREESE".

Here are some pics in Staircase, as you went to Crouch.... There has been a bit of Carnage in there the last two weeks.

Here is a picture of a cream colored raft stuck on the 3rd rock down in Staircase. You can see Whale Rock at the top/center of the picture.

And another buddy sent me this picture, from the week earlier at the Entry to Staircase.

The second one is scary, with that log there to tangle a life jacket. You can see Whale Rock in the background.

I've had a couple of experiences that I "learned" a helluva lot from. That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger....

I will tell you, as much as I like seeing trees on the Mountain, I hate seeing them in the river. Most rocks, you can find some redeeming feature, and some way to play with it if you are in a Kayak. But there is just nothing good about seeing a log in the river.

And lay off of Del.... He has had a rough day... He had to lock one of my threads, and delete two other threads I started.... Free the Gunner, Free the Gunner.....
