It was fuzzy velvet gold attached to muley antlers. I plan to go back and get it next August

My hunting partner and I spent some time archery hunting elk in the Flattops Wilderness, Castle Peak WSA, and a few other areas in September. No elk were killed this time around.

Took the family to Long Beach Island this week, right close to the Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.

Its South Dakota, the Grand river - waaaay far from the roads but sits worth the half day walk to get to it (for me at least).
