New mexico Unit 15

Was lucky enough to draw Unit 15 new mexico late muzzleloader. Have a pretty good idea on where and how to hunt just looking to see bulls people have taken out of 15.

i had that tag a few years ago and struck out//good luck,i wouldnt be too picky if you get a shot.

I had that tag a few years ago as well. I saw tons of elk and had a lot of opportunity. I did see a local guy shoot a big bull with a rifle (over three hundred yards and 5 shots in less than 30 seconds.). It was an absolute crazy thing to watch with my son. If you hike, you can find good bulls. Very fun hunt and I put in for that one again.

If you have go hunt, you can research outfitters in a particular unit. Then go to their website to look at bulls they have killed. Might give you a little insight

Terrible unit hardly any elk. You'd pry be better off donating the tag to me... it would save you some money

Has asking for pictures of elk taken from an area or unit replaced asking for honey holes? Seems wierd to me. But it might just be me.

I know how to e scout for myself and I would never want somebody else’s honey hole anyways I just want to see bulls that somebody else has taken out of the unit.

I get it. I just don't understand what is to be gained by it other than to get more jacked about the tag you drew.

Did you last year? I can’t remember.
I watched a few YouTube videos, but that was to get an idea of the landscape. If there was a bull at the end I guess it was a bonus that satisfied that reason.

That makes sense. I don't have an issue with the question at all. I don't know what data a picture of a dead bull provides. But I also don't have an issue with the OP asking for info on that unit. As you know, I have zero problem with helping out another hunter and will even send waypoints over PM. I guess the question is, "Where is the Don't-post-a-Unit-number police"? Doesn't this violate their unwritten rule? (I think this place has more unwritten rules than MLB). I would think they should be up in arms about this. LOL.

Like I said @freu1chr, happy to help in any way I can. I just didn't kill a bull when I was there a couple of years ago. Also, pray for rain down there.
