Forgot to mention...Mine was a Yearling,passed on him.Maybe in a year or two.

Now I see. These were a few of the three hens and sixteen young turkeys that showed up at our place this morning. Apparently they don't realize that turkey season started yesterday and I have a turkey tag in my pocket ... albeit even with deer and turkeys running around the place, my rule requires a drive of at least one hour from home before I get to hunt.

Here’s a few of my favorites from a backpack hunt a few seasons back. No kills but my camera was jammed full of trophies that trip!
I can guarantee you there is a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.
