Grizzly Moving Towards Delisting in Yellowstone Region

Jose how many grizz you have down there??????? or Wolves for that matter I think you and teddy are hump hump Go to the web site that I gave you They give ranchers money to shut them up so people like you dont hear about the live stock that is killed stop huntting Mount lions and se what happens ;)

More grizzlies and wolves in Boise, less around Jellystone. The human herd around Boise should support a fair number of each. Laramie could support some too.

We got Griz and Wolves all over here.... And we still have Elk....

How many ranchers do you know that will shut up because they get money??? They take the money 'cuz they like the money.

CatHunt,
How many Griz and Wolves do you think should be in MT/WY/ID?

wolve none grizz I would like to hunt them to... a # I dont know.. How many wolves and grizz. do you think there are in MT/WY/ID

I think there is less than a 1000 wolves, and even less grizzlies, by a long way. Both numbers are much smaller than the bears and cats in the 3 states, which hammer the elk herds in much greater numbers.

How come you're afraid of wolves?

"I think there is less than a 1000 wolves, and even less grizzlies, by a long way." Sources please.

The USF&WS estimate for the GYE is 600 grizzly alone. How is this less than 1000 by a long way. How many Grizzly do you think occupy the Bob, Glacier country, and the Cabinets? I've heard of a student that was doing a goat study north of Lincoln that found the area crawling with bears. Bears walking the streets in Choteau which is 20 or miles from the Front range. The bears and wolves are doing quite well around here. Maybe Boise could use some of the excess?

Uhmmmm.... The source would be....... ME. That is why I said "I think" when asked by Cathunt "How many do you think"....

BHR, are you really that stupid that you can't follow along a simple conversation where somebody asks a question and another person answers??? When is the last time you contributed anything positive to society?

You are on Crack if you think there are under a 1000 wolves in three states!!!!! There is nothing good about Wolves they kill cows, sheep, goats, horses, Elk o ya but they dont like big buffalo witch is why the were brought bake to control the buff :BLEEP: That worked out great!!!! And I am south of the border to the Canada border......Name something good about Wolves....

Bio. say there are over 600 in and around yellowstone I would guess over 2000 in the three states.. Just to let you know 3 years after the brought back the wolves one was shot in Canada after killing live stock, And it had a coller on it from yellowstone, But there staying their ya.... Name something good about them, And were you live

Which Biologist is claiming 600 if them in and around Yellowstone???? He does know that if you are counting legs, you have to divide by 4?

And "coller" is spelled "collar", and yes, wolves have wandered from ID/MT/WY to Oregon, Utah, Colorado. Most of them have ended up dead from their wandering, which is good, because that ends the "wandering gene". BHR once told us about sheep they transplanted in Montana that lacked the "wandering gene". But for some reason, they "wandered" and got killed because some Welfare Rancher didn't want Wild Sheep on Public Lands because the Public Lands were reserved for his range maggots.

Yes, I was live.....

And the best thing about the Wolves is they scare the piss out of all the Fat-Assed road hunters like BHR, so they quit hunting because the wolves ate all the elk.....

Yellowstone's first fourteen wolves bore two litters totalling nine pups. In 1996, four packs produced fourteen pups. After the wolves’ release in 1996, plans to transplant additional wolves were terminated due to reduced funding and due to the wolves' unexpected early reproductive success.

In early 1997, ten young wolves, orphaned when their parents were involved in livestock depredation on the Rocky Mountain Front in northwestern Montana, were released into the park. In the spring of the wolf restoration project's third year, nine packs of wolves produced 13 litters of 64 pups. Three of the packs produced multiple litters...Do the math

If I followed your numbers, I got 97 in Yellowstone. Far from the the 600 you claimed. I think your 97 number is low, but I don't want to call BS on you twice in the same thread....

What did the Yellowstone population do this last year??? I believe it declined, if memory serves me correct.

That was seven years ago.lets say only the same wolves keep producing the same #s and non of the offspring breed (ya that would happen with dogs) that is 350 In the last seven years try the math again....
