Crappie time

I've only fished crappie once and I remember it was a blast and you could just about throw a bare hook in the water and have one on the line within a minute or so. Lots of fun

nice crappie I think you did better than most.

My good luck was short lived. It has really fizzled out. There hasn't been a good spawn since 2005 and there's just not many of these older fish left. Terrible spawning conditions due to spring drawdowns and the no limit fishing has about ruined this once great fishery. In the last week I have cancelled or turned away over $4000 in charters. I hope the cats turn on soon.
