Colorado OTC 14 and 231

Hi everyone. Been planning my very first archery elk hunt and was planning.on hunting either 231 or unit 14 in Colorado. Was hoping for some friendly advice from anyone. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys

I am headed out there in October for 2nd rifle. We are hunting 231 also. I have not been there, but my friend has had good luck hunting there. We are hunting on the west side of the flat tops and walking in about 3 1/2 miles from the trail head. Just from what I have seen on google earth and onx it looks steep and thick. Good luck.

I have hunted both units. There are plenty of elk and plenty of elk hunters. Hopefully it isn't as warm as last year for you.
