Yesterday the Big12 “clarified” the tie breaker system for choosing the championship game competitors. Before the clarification, had KState won out, they would be in the championship game (for a rematch v Texas, one would guess), leaving the Cowpokes out in the cold, even though they had beat KState. Now it seems that OSU is in the drivers seat, with OU and KState (and theoretically KU and TTech even) needing help to make it in.

Random Fact:
For those of you who wonder why banana costumes show up in every college stadium, no one knows. The company offered various fruit costumes and the bananas stuck. One million/year. Also, hot dogs, mustards. Two million/year. My daughter's company sells them, among thousands of other things.

I've been generation gapped. To me, either would say, hey girls, I never want a date in college.

I can’t remember a year when there was this many solid teams in the top 8
Usually you can tell by this time of year who will most likely win the title as one team just seems to be a lvl above the rest. Georgia doesn’t seem as dominant as the last 2 seasons.

If my Ducks get revenge in the final Pac 12 Championship game. And crush Husky dreams and hoist the conference trophy , It will make my season as a fan of this team for over 30 plus years. With final bragging rights

Wherever they land after that is icing on the cake. Playoffs or New Years 6
I won’t care

IOWA has no offense, Michigan is in…

I have a 30:1 ticket on the ducks and a 16:1 ticket on Nix for Heisman. I’ll be a big Ducks fan for the rest of the season.

Nix is playing amazing football right now he has the highest completion percentage of any college player in the history of the NCAA he’s at 78.6 percent for the season and Oregon is a 9.5 favorite on Friday against U Dub

You have a great chance to collect on that Heisman Trophy bet .

Not sure about the national championship chances. But that’s probably just the fan in me being over critical about my team.

I agree, but there isn’t a truly elite team this year. Watching Texas thump TT was one of the most impressive performances i’ve seen, but they might not even get into the playoff.

For me as an Oregon fan , I still remember Georgia putting a beating on Oregon by 7 TDs last September,
I believe Oregon is a better team now 15 months later , and Georgia has come back to the pack , but is Oregon O line and D line improved enough to hang tough and possibly win a playoff game should they get in , my PTSD from that game is kicking in …. Ha ha ha ….

Watching yesterday's game with everything that's been swirling around the Michigan program was very enjoyable. The look on Day's face walking in the tunnel appeared as a realization he'd been beaten by a team led by an assistant

I enjoyed watching that game too didn’t really care who won. My dad was rooting big for Michigan yesterday we are sitting on the couch but I thought DAY really screwed up with that last 30 seconds before halftime and didn’t get more aggressive and try to get a first down and get a closer field goal. Congrats on the win

My Ducks will be in Ann Arbor next season. As part of their year 1 BIG10 schedule. 2007 was the last time Oregon played the BIG HOUSE ! QUACK ! Still got my shirt

And speaking of Bama what the hell is that Auburn coach thinking only rushing two people on the last play of the game when when they’re defense line was wreaking havoc on Alabamas O line and that quarterback was running for his life the entire fourth quarter to just let him sit back there for a week. OMG Saban is so freaking lucky.
