camp pics

I'm not sure but I think wal-mart has those pins bruce, if not then get onto the 101 and head for the airport. just after the Co-op about a mile you will take a left off the trans then take a right about half way down and follow that road til you come to a (T) and take a right and you will see a archery place there. you can check out the price for pins there. And by the way that is where I took my course for my bow. you can find out when the next time they have one. I want to say it was amost a all day training. from safty to blood trails . Give it a try and have fun with your new toy :)

sorry bruce gave my old pins away when i sold my old bow, walmart has some for sure and probably the cheapest, canadian tire also has some archery stuff, otherwise i would have been glad to send you some,i will check arround see if i find any....big ben...

Still...

You should do a little better if you relax the fingers on your release hand a little more, and turn your hand down a little, look at your budies and you will see what I mean...

You look just a little tense... :)

Hope you don't mind a little advise...

Russ...

Here are som pics of our deer camp in New Jersey. The name of it is the Ocean City Sportsmans Club. It sleeps and feeds over 40 guys in the six day shotgun season.

Our 80 yard rifle range, we are limited to Shotguns and Muzzleloaders, a bigger range is really not needed.

The walk in box we hang deer in on the warm days.

The kitchen, during the six day deer season the club hires a Casino Chef, and an assistant. They prepare 3 meals a day for 40 plus guys. We buy the food, and provide them with lodging for the six days, and pay them $1500 for the services. Not bad for a weeks wages huh!

Next time I get to the Penna camp I will snap some pics and post them. It ain as fancy as this one. Heck we got indoor crappers and showers at the one in New Jersey. I think its kinda cool to see what some of the other guys camps look like.

Still, That is a great looking camp. When are you planning on inviting everyone from Hunttalk? Oh, by the way.. Quit strangling the bow! All that left hand is for is to keep the bow from hitting you in the nose when you pull back on the string. Open your hand and support the bow. Don't choke it.. You'll stop throwing the arrows to the right.

ELKCHSR
PLEASE keep the advice comming so I can learn. You are not the first to make that sugestion and I am finding the more I look at the picture after you folks have offered some advice the more I see.
I also was in such a rush to at least try shooting I did not wait to get the cams for a shorter draw length put on and gave it a try anyway. :D
I have since shortened the draw length and will have to take some more photos. If you do not mind looking at them and making suggestions I will continue to post. :)

groups like that bruce you do not need any input from any one, keep practicing. I guess there is one thing you might want to try. You might get one chance for a shot on a deer. And like clock work buck fever kicks in or just sheer excitement takes over where your heart pounds and you shake like crazy. practice the heart pounding and shaking like crazy shooting from time to time. The way I do it is I run fast and hard til I almost drop and I pick up the bow and try to steady it and take a shot at the target. hey it is just like shooting at the real thing , knowing that you got a few second perhap alittle longer for a shot.Try it or not that is up to you.

I am still not convinced that this is not beginers luck. I also know what you mean about buck feaver, been there done that, just ask my Dad he saw it and after he got done rolling on the ground laughing at me we continued to hunt. After I do some more practicing and we get into August I will have to try that. Thanks.

Hope that you all have a great long weekend on both sides of the border.Enjoy the canadian hoilday back home guys. And have a great long July 4th here as well.It is hard to beleave that it is july all ready. Tomorrow I think I will get out and do some more exploring.Have a great one to all , keep it safe and be wild at the same time, later.
