Border closure and spring outfitting season

I am going to guesss that a good portion of the ones from Texas, Arizona, Florida, etc are Canadians who have a house in the US. Pretty favorable tax and registration laws in those states not to mention a bit warmer than Canada in February.

You also have to remember if you see American plated vehicles up there, there is a very high chance it’s a Canadian citizen or family that lives and works in the u.s. not saying this is every case, but I know for fact that there are tons of these instances. Where I work, I see hundreds of Canadian citizens from sask that live and work in Colorado alone. You can feel that we’re getting closer to a reopening though, whether it’s next month or a few more down the road.

Citizens and permanent residents who are fully vaccinated will be open to do non-essential travel with much relaxed regulations starting this July. I'm hopeful that this will stick until fall and should allow me to hunt MT and WY! Hopefully restrictions get completely lifted Aug/Sept timeframe.

Guess who got both his shots? THIS GUY!!!

That’s only for returning to Canada starting July. You’d still have to fly into the u.s until at least July 21st. That being said, I think you’ll be good to go by the time your hunt comes most likely.

I take it you typically drive for prior U.S. hunts? Or is it due to the excessive quarantine restrictions to return to Canada? You can always hunt U.S. via flight in...

The issue for us has always been the 14 day quarantine when entering Canada by air. They will finally do away with that for fully vaccinated citizens but they will still require testing through land border if I understand that corectly. I'm hoping this changes between now and October for a full re-opening. Either way, I'll plan my time off around that and am expecting to cross the border this fall.

Watch the f*ck out @EYJONAS! I'm coming!

I see Quebec registered vehicles in our border town daily. I have friends here in town who stood in line for their COVID shots, visit with folks from Quebec waiting in the same line for their shots. Just open the damn border so friends and family can get back together !!!!

USA active aircraft carriers = 11
Canada active aircraft carriers = 0

The United States Navy has 11 large nuclear-powered fleet carriers—carrying around 80 fighters each—the largest carriers in the world; the total combined deck space is over twice that of all other nations combined.

Gotta thank the hardworking American taxpayer and our superb military keeping the USA and our neighbors safe. No refunds, by the way! 🇺🇸

What does that have to do with anything?

I’ll trade you one 15 round Glock magazine for every Sasky buck you scare across the border...
