Caribou Gear Tarp

Bigger **Sigh**

drath,
If you decide to try x-country skiing in the back country ,after awhile you'll realize you are in the best shape of your life.I ski with my wife and 3 yr.old(on back).Keeps me tuned for next year mountain biking and bagging peaks.Winter fly-rodding is an addiction(but cold).Half way to turkey season.

I'm laying low and working a little Over time and building up the Hunting Fund. Next year I need some Extra Coin with the Hunts I'm going to be drawing. Next year we're cleaning house on Tags !!!!

Ice fishing, small critter hunting, and shooting/reloading.

The reloading is really something that creeps into my mind. Building out my shop right now adding a big heated room for such. When I get to that point, I will be asking for advice on the "bench" for reloading, heighth, depth, better sitting or standing, cabinets, drawers, etc, all this stuff I wonder about. Since I am starting from scratch, may as well get some advice on what the experienced guys think.

Well there's "What gear do I ask for Christmas?", "What gear do I ask for Valentines and President's Day?" etc....

Duck season ends and then

Application strategies and applications(which I have found, goes on even during the hunts you are on several years in advance)...

Ahhh yes Spring Turkey season (the the sun shines through for 4 weeks or so)....

Late spring and summer the faintest glimmer of hope waiting for your "You were not successful" .aps response from xxxxxxxx state.

Then September comes and you start all over again.

Don't forget July when the new episodes on OYOA comes out! which only furthers the "Dog Days of Summer" (paid for by Society To Have OYOA Air 52 New Episodes A Year).

I have to agree. Ten episodes is pretty weak. Get off your lazy duff Randy and get back to work. There's no reason you shouldn't be putting out 20-30 episodes a year.

Counting the days until archery season (Idaho) next year!! Actually did count earlier today, approx. 288 if I remember correctly.

Oh, and to take my mind off of it, fishing, shed hunting, etc....

Winter... Hmmm, ya... that time of year.
Watch the kids sled... pull 'em behind the truck... Wife ice skates in the irrigation run... Me? WELDING for fun. Seems the best time to weld - when home. Otherwise, work, eat, sleep - repeat - wait until my days off to get back home...

Hunting? Nope - I mainly play the deer / elk. When that season is done - t'is all for me. As for ice fishing, never really got into it.

Getting ready for the little girl that is coming in January.

Maybe some ice fishing, duck hunting, a day or two of late archery hunting.

getting geared up!, spending way too much time scheming for the next great tag to draw, back-country skiing, among other things.

Planning next year's very limited hunting excursions while the wife finishes nursing school. :(

Need to finish roofing, siding, and wiring the detached garage under construction....Then start on the interior of the home. Wife wants to move/remove walls, but I want none of that, so I'm sure we'll do it her way....

Dec 10 I become a resident in CO...Maybe pick up a left over cow tag for myself and the two oldest boys if there are any remaining, and fill the echoing freezer. I need to learn to rotate work and fun with the kids. All work and no play has made me dull. Very dull.

Ducks, geese & quail till end of januanry then winter steelhead and yotes. Roll into spring turkey and bear (if Drawn). Salmon fish over summer and wait for the september kick off to start all over again. Oh and planning my very first out of state hunting trip. Hopefully going to try antelope in Wy and maybe deer elk hunt in another state. I've got a lot of study/research to do so i should stay busy.....

I'll duck hunt, and chase ditch parrots a few more times, I've got the skiis out once already, hoping work will settle into a routine I can live with. "one year I'm going to make it out for steelheads" but I don't know if it will be this year. I think mostly, I'll see if I can plan something to not eat my elk tag.
