Alcohol

That's his "sleeping meds". He has to have 8 before going to bed. He'll start as soon as he gets home from work. I wouldn't be surprised it it was 8-14 daily during the week, and then 2-3x that on the weekends

Well 2 weeks ago I had a heart attack and the Dr said alcohol could be causing my hearts electrical system problems. Having them stop your heart to get it to stop beating so fast isn’t a very pleasant experience. Needless to say I’m done drinking

Brooklyn + Weihenstephaner are also good.

The athletic sour is my favorite, followed by the golden and the IPAs.
I've tried a lot of NA over the last few years none of then did it for me. Idk the taste isn't what I crave its the initial release. I find myself more and more lately having one and then being like meh I'm good now especially with dinner.

Same… I rarely drink more than one a day.

Perhaps has something to do the removal of the addictive ingredients.

Years ago I tried to quit cold turkey got some Busch NA drank the whole 12 pack. Sounds dumb but I had one of the worst hangovers ever. Idk what was in that shit but it drove me back to alchohol pretty quick lol

True story...a friend of mine went in to the doc for a physical and the doctor asked the usual questions and got the "how many drinks do you have on a daily/weekly basis?"....My friend says....I drink 6-8 beers a day....Doctor just kinda looks at him and he say to the doc....I know....I'm an alcoholic...and I'm OK with it....lol

Yeah I have a few relatives that are functioning alcoholics and when I told them I essentially quit drinking, they lost their mind… as if I told them they had to stop 😂

Giving it up completely has its benefits . Been an internal conflict forever. I don't think thats possible so I'm learning to moderate. I dont have a single friend/family member who doesn't drink some. Maybe that's #@)(*%* up idk. But I really don't know how that would work. Hardest part of quitting is probably processing deer. Sounds dumb but who here can get together with buddies grind/stuff sausage all day without having a few beers?

Not directed at me but from a family of the same I totally do. Tobacco, alchohol, drugs (ive never used any type of drugs but definitely a family trend, certain foods, hunting (sounds dumb but I don't moderate much of anything it's either an obsession or a dead issue). Addictive personality.
Hunting is the same thing as gambling. The part of gambling that people get addicted to, that lights up the brain, is the moment before the result is shown. The high is from the possibility of winning.

I don’t know about you, but that’s what keeps getting me out of my warm bed before sunrise. The possibility of bagging an animal.

Umm that's what keeps me buying points, racking up credit cards in applications, guns, ammo, dogs, trainers, sxs's and shipping containers full of decoys. Gamblers are amateur and they have a chance of winning something, ask my wife.
