My wife just now: "so today I had to save a bumble bee. He was trapped in the house so I carefully captured him was able to release him unharmed back outside into my flowers."
Zero problem whacking a fish across the head in the boat or putting an arrow through a deer but killing a bee is just too much.

My wife found mouse babies in the garage last summer. I had been trapping them as they were chewing the insulation under my hood, and my boots, and shop towels.No, you and my wife.
They came in quickly. I killed seventeen.
Meanwhile, my wife was trying to raise the babies that had fallen out from under my truck near the spare tire. I never found the nest.
Luckily, they died within a day and a half.
