2022 Hunting Plans

Hi All. This seems like mostly WY residents. I don't want to go off topic--if I am, do say so. // I and one friend are headed to WY this year from Alabama, my third year hunting antelope. Last two years in area 7. We have no points, so 7 looks tough this year if I'm reading it right. We're thinking about staying in Douglas to hunt 26. It's big, open, but has pretty limited accessible public. Any thoughts or advice on 26?

If you’re applying in the regular draw, you probably won’t get a tag with 0 points. Some NRs with zero drew last year, but more did not. The special draw was a different story.

Drew a Utah CWMU deer tag
Wife has a bear tag that starts Saturday in Utah
Son drew a Wyoming general tag - super excited about this one!
Waiting to hear if I drew a Wyoming tag too
Waiting to hear if I drew Idaho or not.

My son and I drew General Elk tags and my brother in law drew a cow/calf tag. I will be in Wyoming 2 times within a month this year and driving from Ohio. Not looking forward to the fuel bill however the adventure will be worth it.

day early > so looks like we will be elk hunting lots of tags for family and friends
