I have a meeting on Friday this week to review why I need an exception to the 100' from the house rule for our new Shopdo
30x60x16 with two 12' lean-to. 500sf apartment inside. All my woodworking, metalworking, car project work goes in there.

When it's complete we will live inside when we start the foundation repairs on the main house. After that, the Shopdo will be for guests and paying Vrbo/Airbnb hunting guests.
I will set it up with a meat cutting area and freezer. GMU 8/8A has never been a hunting destination, but it seems like all of Idaho is now.

I'm starting this thread so all you builders and shopheads can keep me from ending up in an ADHD ditch on this project.

Don’t forget floor drains in your meat cutting area.

Also, since it’s up there and firewood is easier, think about a wood fired boiler and underslab hot water heat.

I'd just do like a storm inlet with like a 12" sump, with a regular manhole frame. But the a grease trap would work too.
