Help with scope
I use a variable , 3x-9x leupold , and basically use the 3x when in the trees and the 9x when in the open. I have several leupold scopes / binos and they are a great product. I know there are products with better glass that cost a lot more but leupold is a fine for hunting. -
Sleeping bag recommendations?
I use a mummy when backpacking but a 'alaskan sleeping bag company' full size bag when I don't have to carry it up mountains. Get one from a company that features camping items and get one warmer than you think you need. I liked down but the new fabric's are good and you can compress them more...- mtmander

Setup for coyotes
in my calling , they come from downwind , sometimes they come running across a field and sometimes they come out of the trees close to the call. My call is placed downwind from me and I am positioned in a spot where I have good visibility and cover. I usually stay in one spot for at least 1/2...- mtmander

Wyoming Elk Bust
Enjoy the hunt , as it is happening and after it is over. To me that is what is important, getting a animal is nice, real nice b ut the hunt is what I remember from years past. -
