You know there's a new pup in the house when...

we tried to start training with bells near the door when she was 3-4 months old. she just tried eating/destroying them, so that didn't last/work.

the older pup on the right is clearly no good at teaching her anything - even outside they cause problems while rough housing with each other.

Yea, we're not having much luck with the 'down' command. Mrs. is taking her to obedience school next week.
This always makes me smile. I know it is the smart and right thing to do, but it is a foreign concept to me as all our dogs were trained, at home and our training centered around not chasing the fowl, sucking eggs, chasing livestock, or the cats --not Christmas tree ornaments . And the cats were in the barn and they had a job to do also. I remember being told, dont feed the cats, they will get lazy ;)
