My Lab Ellie kept discreetly plucking ornaments off the tree till she was four years old. She has trouble resisting things that dangle. Sleeping bag zipper tabs were a favorite.

My last Chessie had a tail that would leave a welt…and he’d literally clear off the coffee table with it anytime you got out a chewie for himOur youngest lab doesn't chew much anymore, his tail though...
We had to get rid of the coffee table! He still clears the end table when he's on the couch. Pretty soon I won't be able to reach anything in my own house. My last Chessie had a tail that would leave a welt…and he’d literally clear off the coffee table with it anytime you got out a chewie for him
I have three labs. They never chewed anything. They just ate it. Usually would have to wait a day or two to find out where it went. Our youngest lab doesn't chew much anymore, his tail though...
Yea, we're not having much luck with the 'down' command. Mrs. is taking her to obedience school next week.We would have needed to remove half the nice handy,at head level stuff you have in that house ,out of the house for the duration with each sweet little German Shepard pup.
I just have to deal with Rio trying to bury this seasons goodies he's collected in my tree wells.
NHY we trained our pup with this. The wife didn't want to hear the bells every time someone opened the doors. Nor did she want it to look like Christmas all the time.Any of ya'll use these? This is a two bath pup domicile. One egress goes to the fenced back, the other to a lawn at the end of our driveway. After a few beers I sometimes ring the bell m'self...
Gratuitous cute sleeping puppy shot. She helped rake leaves early this morning.
we tried to start training with bells near the door when she was 3-4 months old. she just tried eating/destroying them, so that didn't last/work.
Gorilla glue and a brick/rock worked for us. The bell was Onyx's personal hockey puck until I glued it to a river rock.we tried to start training with bells near the door when she was 3-4 months old. she just tried eating/destroying them, so that didn't last/work.
