Where is Current Events??? Why can't I be the "old Me" CJCJ

No more CE but there is Politics & Opinions:

The Politics and Opinions forum is now a private forum that is "Joinable". However it is publicly viewed by mods, admins, and other group members. That does not change the rules of behavior.
Appropriate behavior and forum rules still apply. If you violate these rules, your posts will be deleted. Any decision will be up to Admins and Moderators.
If you are reading this then you have access. Since you have access you must have clicked the "Join Usergroup" option in your user CP panel.
It was your choice to join the Politics and Opinions forum, so if you don't like it, the easy answer is to leave. You can "unjoin" the user group by going back and clicking "leave this user group."
Just a reminder - posts with name calling, foul language or personal attacks will be warned and/or moderated. Keep it civil. Keep it on topic.
If political or opinion posts end up getting posted in other sections, the post will be deleted, and if need be, I will ban someone who is a habitual violator. I hate censorship and moderation, but if it is needed for the good of this site, I will do it.
